In France, the main French stock index is called the CAC 40. Daily price limits are implemented in cash and derivative markets. Securities traded on the markets are divided into three categories according to the number and volume of daily transactions. Price limits for each security vary by category. For instance, for the more[most?] liquid category, when the price movement of a security from the previous day's closing price exceeds 10%, the quotation is suspended for 15 minutes, and transactions are then resumed. If the price then goes up or down by more than 5%, transactions are again suspended for 15 minutes. The 5% threshold may apply once more before transactions are halted for the rest of the day. When such a suspension occurs, transactions on options based on the underlying security are also suspended. Further, when more than 35% of the capitalization of the CAC40 Index cannot be quoted, the calculation of the CAC40 Index is suspended and the index is replaced by a trend indicator. When less than 25% of the capitalization of the CAC40 Index can be quoted, quotations on the derivative markets are suspended for half an hour or one hour, and additional margin deposits are requested.[43]
(12) Asteroid hitting earth. There is a possibility of an asteroid or comet hitting earth within a few years, since it is described in Revelation 8. This is why an asteroid defense is needed, which NASA could build if they were funded to do so. These King James Bible Code matrices indicate there could be an asteroid ocean hit in 2018-2019, the asteroid breaking up into 7 pieces in the atmosphere as it hits, so 7 impacts, and a giant tidal wave resulting that floods coastal cities. This could be the "seven thunders" of Revelation 10:3:
Mother Earth is now in greatest distress because of the exploding population explosion which is greatly ignored by the governments. As you are aware we all have our free wills. Some countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Palestine have all run out of space and many countries are encroaching on valuable farm lands. Added to this is enchroaching and expanding deserts and valuable coastal lands overtaken by encroaching sea waters because of global warming. Added to this is massive droughts and floods. You, Dear Sir, spend a lot of time in India and are very familiar with Karma, nemisis, faith, yogamaya, samskara – Every action has an equal reaction. Now is Payback time. As Ex- President Senior Bush said – ” you ( earth people) trash the earth, the earth will trash you back”. You all are going to be trashed severally. This is a grim warning.
Also, note that the woman is holding a cup full of abominations and filthiness - the cup could be the CERN LHC particle accelerator, which is circular in shape, and the abominations could be the strange and dangerous particles the LHC creates, including Black Holes and Strangelets that could destroy earth. Note that the CERN LHC had a large increase in power in 2015, making creation of a black hole more likely.
Thank you. You have a strongly Scorpio-Taurus chart so it’s not surprising that you are already involved with blockchain. I just heard the word ‘fingerprints’ answering your question so perhaps there is a fingerprint-ID technology that you are involved with, or could be? (Mind you, I am staying in the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle so perhaps that’s why!) Okay, so with your Uranus at 3 Scorpio you will experience Uranus at 3 Taurus opposite. They call it Uranus Opposition Uranus and we all go through it, but for you it will be about financial freedom. You’ll feel the start of the cycle in May and then by 2019 it will begin to unfold properly. Any opposition is always a challenge and so you can’t expect stability or predictability. There are no ‘knowns’ over the next year or two. It’s all unknowns. You need to bear that in mind in terms of how much time, energy and actual money you invest. Uranus transits are by their nature quite wild and the best analogy I can give you is – imagine you were in New York in 1781 dealing with the end of British rule, British taxes – and the first rumblings of the end of the slave trade. You would probably feel as if you were about to make it all up as you went along. You and others would feel as if you were co-creating the future together. And today your descendants would be rich! The smart money from May 2018 onwards is on people who realise that you have to get on board with a revolution, and that’s you. The trick to Uranus transits is to be watchful and responsive on a daily basis, because the global economy really will be that sensitive. It will change in the blink of an eye, more than once, over a period of many years. In general, from Christmas 2019 onwards, we are moving towards a radically different kind of borrowing and lending model which has far more in common with eBay and Craig’s List than, say, the Bank of America. Stay constantly tuned!

Tulip Mania (in the mid-1630s) is often considered to be the first recorded speculative bubble. Historically, early stock market bubbles and crashes have also their roots in socio-politico-economic activities of the 17th-century Dutch Republic (the birthplace of the world's first formal stock exchange and market),[3][4][5][6][7] the Dutch East India Company (the world's first formally listed public company), and the Dutch West India Company (WIC/GWIC) in particular. As Stringham & Curott (2015) remarked, "Business ventures with multiple shareholders became popular with commenda contracts in medieval Italy (Greif, 2006, p. 286), and Malmendier (2009) provides evidence that shareholder companies date back to ancient Rome. Yet the title of the world's first stock market deservedly goes to that of seventeenth-century Amsterdam, where an active secondary market in company shares emerged. The two major companies were the Dutch East India Company and the Dutch West India Company, founded in 1602 and 1621. Other companies existed, but they were not as large and constituted a small portion of the stock market (Israel [1989] 1991, 109–112; Dehing and 't Hart 1997, 54; de la Vega [1688] 1996, 173)."[8]
Experienced investors who are “sophisticated enough to focus on these numbers and act on them themselves” can benefit by making their own adjustments, Mr. Davis said. Tried-and true investments like balanced funds and target date funds (which become more conservative as a given date nears) can make basic adjustments for you. Advisers can do this as well.

To see how this chart works in practice, let's look at how we might have made sense of the planetary influences that were operating at the time of the October 1987 stock market crash. The NYSE chart was running Jupiter-Mercury dasha. Although both of these planets are natural benefics and therefore biased towards price rises, a planet's temporary condition in the chart at hand is a more important determinant of its promise. Jupiter's dasha lasts 16 years to it is only a background influence. More significant is Mercury. Although fairly well-placed in the 11th house of gains in Taurus, it rules the 12th of loss and the neutral 3rd and is also closely combusted. So far, this is a fairly mediocre Mercury. However, what tips the scales towards the negative is that it forms a tight square with Pluto. Hard aspects with any outer planet are never good, and this creates a natal tendency in Mercury that will tend to manifest in lower prices during its dasha periods, as we will see in a separate discussion below.
A core part of the Tesco expansion strategy[103] has been its innovative use of technology.[104] It was one of the first to build self-service tills and use cameras to reduce queues, and an early adopter of NFC contactless payment card technology.[105] In 2016, Tesco developed a mobile payment wallet, PayQwiq using both NFC contactless and barcode technology to allow payment using mobile phones in-shop (along with supporting other contactless mobile wallets such as ApplePay).[106]
It is not just the uber rish who lose the most. It is the middle class workers. Those of us who have worked hard and survied years of down sizing in larger corporations who will lose a great deal…along with all those who also benifit from our generosity over the years. All the school supply drives, blood drives, holliday food drives to name a few. We try to contribute the amount to our 401’s to earn the companies matching benifits. We are pentalized for taking out our money until we reach the age of 59. Those of us who are to close to retiring don’t have the opportunity to recoup our money. So we will be faced with working to a much older age then we planned. So in reality…while we may be middle income…we don’t have the ability to just put out our money. If we lose a great portion of our 401’s and there is another housing market crash they have managed to chip away yet another chuck of middle imcome households. Sooner or later it will only be the very poor and the very rich! We need a solution to bring back the middle income and a solution for more and more folks to have the opportunity to move beyond lower income! We have done our best to prepare for what life might throw at us short term and long time, but I do believe it is going to be a bummpy ride, so buckle up my prepper friends.

During 1930 and 1931 in particular, unemployed workers went on strike, demonstrated in public, and otherwise took direct action to call public attention to their plight. Within the UK, protests often focused on the so-called Means Test, which the government had instituted in 1931 as a way to limit the amount of unemployment payments made to individuals and families. For working people, the Means Test seemed an intrusive and insensitive way to deal with the chronic and relentless deprivation caused by the economic crisis. The strikes were met forcefully, with police breaking up protests, arresting demonstrators, and charging them with crimes related to the violation of public order.[39]
Early in February, I wrote on my personal Facebook page that on February 11, 2018, there would be a Sun -Jupiter square transit that is connected to the market astrophysics, and, more specifically, the stock market crash 2018. This transit usually brings market depression or reversal of direction in the period starting anywhere between 10 days BEFORE this aspect and a day or so AFTER the aspect. In fact, the October 2008 and 1962 crashes occurred exactly when Sun squared Jupiter.
Weingarten has been bearish on Bitcoin for a long time and has some nonastrological reasons for it, including iffy security and possible regulation. He’s vague when asked to elaborate on the planetary technical analysis. “There were a bunch of charts that said Bitcoin was going to get slaughtered,” he says, showing them to me for an unhelpfully brief period of time. Eventually he relents somewhat, explaining that his zodiac charts displayed looming Saturns for Bitcoin. “Saturn has to deal with limitation, or it has to deal with reality,” he says. “And the reality of Bitcoin is it’s a piece of shit.”
Some exchanges are physical locations where transactions are carried out on a trading floor, by a method known as open outcry. This method is used in some stock exchanges and commodity exchanges, and involves traders shouting bid and offer prices. The other type of stock exchange has a network of computers where trades are made electronically. An example of such an exchange is the NASDAQ.

Note the emphasis on every. Yes, there have been periods where the Fed raised rates and a recession didn’t ensue. Everyone knows the famous saying about the stock market having predicted nine of the past five recessions! That may be true, that rising rates don’t necessarily cause a recession. But as an investor, you must be aware that every major stock market decline occurred on the heels of a tightening phase by the Fed. More importantly, there have been no substantive Fed tightening phases that did not end with a stock market decline.

Falling liquidity may occur if banks stop extending credit or if a regulator increases the margin requirements for traders. Sometimes when a central bank raises interest rates, banks will begin to call in some of their loans, triggering a shortage of liquidity in the market. The simplest explanation is that at some point the money runs out. Markets rise while investors continue to buy, and when they run out of money, markets fall. The exact cause of a crash is often easy to see in hindsight, but difficult to see at the time.
Some academics view the Wall Street Crash of 1929 as part of a historical process that was a part of the new theories of boom and bust. According to economists such as Joseph Schumpeter, Nikolai Kondratiev and Charles E. Mitchell, the crash was merely a historical event in the continuing process known as economic cycles. The impact of the crash was merely to increase the speed at which the cycle proceeded to its next level.
If Sathya Sai Baba incarnates as Prema Sai then one of his tasks he says is to reform Christianity. I believe that this will happen and Christianity will survive into the distant future but it will be very far removed from the blind bigotry, self-righteousness, propaganda and fear mongering that we see today. Take the egotism out of it and let it’s message of love and service shine through and you are left with something worthy.
On May 6, 2010, the stock market was having a pretty negative day, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down by over 300 points with just over an hour left in the trading session. At approximately 2:42 p.m. EST, the market dropped by another 600 points in five minutes. Keep in mind that the Dow was only at about 10,500 at the time, so this was a big drop, percentage-wise.
Any investor or investment professional who seeks a genuine understanding of looming financial disasters should read this book. Physicists, geologists, biologists, economists, and others will welcome Why Stock Markets Crash as a highly original "scientific tale," as Sornette aptly puts it, of the exciting and sometimes fearsome--but no longer quite so unfathomable--world of stock markets.
Just curious, since you are closer to the “action” out there. Do you or anybody know if there is any type of timetable or budget for the great investigator [Mueller]? Or do he and his posse have a blank check with this whole White House investigation? I would be interested in what this little crusade has cost us so far, since he has summoned quite a group to leave no stone, rock, or post unturned.

Note: One reason why a Southern California large earthquake has not occurred is because there may be an alien UFO base off the coast of Los Angeles (LA), and the aliens may be preventing a Southern California San Andreas Fault quake which could damage their underwater base. They may be slowly releasing the earth stress to prevent a quake there. A lot of UFOs have been seen entering and leaving the deep water off the coast of L.A., so its very likely they have an underwater base there. Therefore it is unlikely there will be a major Southern California Quake in future years. Controlling earthquakes is easy for these aliens.

“I think as Americans lose their jobs, they are going to see the cost of living going up rather dramatically, and so this is going to make it particularly painful,” Schiff said. “This is a bubble not just in the stock market, but the entire economy,” he told Fox News Business. Schiff is predicting a recession, accompanied by rising consumer prices, that will be “far more painful” than the 2007-2009 Great Recession.

Followers of my predictions will know I predicted the Arab Spring and the first ‘’Je suis Charlie’ atrocities in Paris. On my page and the video about the Middle East I saw the defeat of ISIS in Syria and Iraq – a process that is happening but, as I explained, Syria will be left almost uninhabitable.  I also predicted that Syria would be partitioned. So far, this has not happened but there are now strong indications that this could eventually happen.
And just when you think that this may all be a bunch of bul…h…t. A free energy inventer gets a phone call from a Tv morning show, calling him raising hell on his ass telling him, that he needs to buy up all the free energy electrical devices now, the free energy inventor declines his offer, Host hangs up on him pissed and then calls him back asking him nicely if he could allow him to send him a truck to empty his entire store inventory, the owner declines. Store owner inventor is told by said talk show host, that the elites are getting everything in place to plug the plug. Its obvious that its a planned calapse. The inventor tells us that we will be needing electicity to power up devices, because he was told that the grid will go down, and obvious planned EMP ATTACK on all our major cites, “planned” it seems.

So, when will the stock market crash again? There is no way to accurately predict a bear market. The FAANG stocks (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google) have led the bull market over the last 9 years. If these stocks fail to keep their earnings momentum going, investors may lose confidence in the market. So far only Facebook and Netflix have disappointed investors, while Apple remains as strong as ever.

From October 6–10 the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) closed lower in all five sessions. Volume levels were record-breaking. The DJIA fell over 1,874 points, or 18%, in its worst weekly decline ever on both a points and percentage basis. The S&P 500 fell more than 20%.[36] The week also set 3 top ten NYSE Group Volume Records with October 8 at #5, October 9 at #10, and October 10 at #1.[37]

Hi Craig, its always nice to come across someone who has a real talent for these things; my only concern is that it just seems like the world is going to hell in a hand basket… What are your thoughts on the development of a the human race over the coming centuries, do your abilities extend this far? if not, will we ever see more peaceful and prosperous times in the next coming years?? if you have already shared these thoughts before I apologise! I have posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Invest It Wisely site called The Biggest Unknown Risk of Stock Investing. Juicy Excerpt: My strong sense is that most investors have not thought through carefully what it means to stick with stocks for the long run. To try to stick with stocks for the long run and fail to do so is the worst of all possible worlds. The possibility of becoming a failed Buy-and-Hold investor is the biggest unknown risk of stock investing. Juicy Comment #1: I agree…
In March 2007, residents in Bournville, Birmingham fought to maintain the historic alcohol-free status of the area, in winning a court battle with Tesco, to prevent it selling alcohol at their local outlet. No shops are permitted to sell alcohol in the area and there are no pubs, bars or fast-food outlets in Bournville due to its Quaker roots.[148]
Courtyard of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange (Beurs van Hendrick de Keyser) by Emanuel de Witte, 1653. The Amsterdam Stock Exchange is said to have been the first stock exchange to introduce continuous trade in the early 17th century. The process of buying and selling the VOC's shares, on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, became the basis of the world's first official (formal) stock market.[30][31]
Anaconda, Memes, and Obama: In Obama's first year, he prevented another Great Depression, saved the US auto industry, and put us on track to cut the uninsured rate in half and triple the stock market. Trump gave himself a $15-million-a- year tax cut and defended neo-Nazis. See the difference? OCCUPY DEMOCRAT Matt Palumbo Obama: 30 percent growth during the most volatile market on record-100% of that 30 percent gain was merely retracing lost value from past declines. Trump:25 percent growth. Least volatile market in history. First time since the 1980s where we had 12 straight positive months of stock market gains. Record low unemployment, rising wages, rising labor force participation. All gains make new all time highs
If you believe in Taratam Vani [TV in brief] that manifested in India during 1657-94 AD – which can be termed as ‘Seventeenth Century Revelations’ – I feel after considerable thought that the Avatara of Kalki had manifested in the year 1618 AD in a personage called Shri Devachandraji [1581-1657 AD]. He is esoterically referred to in 2nd chapter of 12th Skandha of Bhagawatam as the horse called “Devadutta”. That happened after a 14 year long fascination and devotion/contemplation of the text of Bhagawatam. He one day accomplished his highest humanly attainable state of consciousness [that must have been, in my humble opinion, a state called ‘Turyateeta’ in the text of ‘Yogavasishtha’ when one has an audience with Paramatma].
I recently posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Free  Money Wisdom blog. It's titled What If Everything You Thought You Knew About Stock Investing Turned Out to be Wrong? Juicy Excerpt: Pfau’s most recent paper examines the one study that really did conclude that long-term timing does not work. Then there’s the issue of perceived value. Different groups define the “peak” of a meme by different standards. A meme’s lifespan is the opposite of a startup’s: when a startup goes public, it usually means an influx of money, or the founder cashing out and moving to a private island. When a meme goes public (that is, hits the mainstream), the early adopters declare the meme dead in the water and move on. At the exact time a meme might be the most valuable in terms of popularity — when it is being shared the most — others would argue the meme’s bubble has already burst. “The culture itself is very resistant to legitimacy,” Wink says. “It’s just this general feeling that going big is a death sentence. But in other communities, for example people who only visit Facebook, to them it’s not like, ‘Oh if I see this it’s dead,’ it’s like ‘Oh this is just the beginning and I’m going to be seeing this a lot more often.’”
Even better than not selling stocks during a recession is to actually go on the offense. In bull markets, investors can occasionally find reasonably priced, wonderful businesses. But they can rarely find wonderful businesses trading at a significant discount to their fair value. Stock market crashes are the rare times when high-quality businesses can be found in the clearance aisle. Go shopping!

Your MC or Midheaven is in Pisces in the Twelfth House using the Natural House system. Your vocation is an escape from the real world, so it may be the spiritual path, or the scientific one (quantum physics is an escape from reality just as meditation or astrology is). Neptune is in Sagittarius in the Ninth House so academia or religion/spirituality does seem very likely as your career or unpaid calling.
Perhaps the best way to hedge your portfolio against a crash, is to make sure you always have a healthy portion of it allocated to cash. The amount you allocate to cash really depends on how much volatility you are happy to tolerate. More cash means you stand to lose less, but you will probably lose out on returns in the long run. A lower cash balance will probably lead to higher overall returns, but will also mean higher volatility.
Finally, once you feel you've got a portfolio that will provide sufficient gains during rising markets and enough protection during routs so you'll be able to hang on until the eventual recovery, stick with that mix, except for occasional rebalancing, regardless of what's going on in the market. The idea is to make sure your portfolio doesn't become too aggressive during market upswings or too conservative when stocks take a hit.

I've posted Entry #2 to my weekly column at the Balance Junkie site. It's titled Why We Are Afraid to Acknowledge the True Cause of the Economic Crisis. Juicy Except: My boys (Timothy, age 12, and Robert, age 9) and I were watching a DVD of the old television series I’ll Fly Away a few days ago. The series tells the story of the civil rights struggle of the early 1960s and how it affected the people of a small town in South Carolina. There’s one scene that we watched that I believe…
Tax avoidance has not always related to corporation tax. A number of companies including Tesco used a scheme to avoid VAT by deeming 2.5% of purchases paid for by card to be a 'card transaction fee', which reduced the company's tax liability without changing the charge to the customer. Such schemes came to light after HMRC litigated against Debenhams over the scheme in 2005.[147]
In the absence of strong transit contacts to the particular first trade chart of a stock exchange or company, it is very hard indeed to discern where the market will go. In those conditions, astrology may fare no better than chance. But where close angular contacts are made between current planetary positions and those in the first trade chart, prices will follow set patterns as described by the established symbolism of the planet and angle involved. We will examine how this works in more detail below.
In the case of books, it would be wise not to try to reinvent the wheel. If you know a book is excellent for investing, then pick it up and start reading. For example, if Warren Buffet says to read “The Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham then you’d better find it and start reading. Admittedly, some of the older books on the topic of investing are very dry. In this case, it may be helpful to get the audio version.
Tesco Express shops are neighbourhood convenience shops averaging 200 square metres (2,200 sq ft), stocking mainly food with an emphasis on higher-margin products such as sweets, crisps, chocolate, biscuits, fizzy drinks and processed food (due to small shop size, and the necessity to maximize revenue per square foot) alongside everyday essentials. They are located in busy city-centre districts, small shopping precincts in residential areas, small towns and villages, and on Esso petrol station forecourts. In 2010 it became known that Tesco was operating Express pricing, charging more in their Express branches than in their regular branches. A spokesperson said that this was "because of the difference in costs of running the smaller shops".[61]
“The Problem Stems From the Fact That We Didn’t Always Know Everything There Is to Know About How Stock Investing Works, and When Shiller Published His Nobel-Prize-Winning Research, the Buy-and-Holders Elected to Ignore It Rather Than to Work Up the Courage to Say the Words ‘I’ and ‘Was’ and ‘Wrong.’ Now We Are in a Trap. It Is Now 500 Times Harder for Bogle and the Other Buy-and-Holders to Say Those Words Than It Would Have Been to Say Them 37 Years Ago.”
The whole thing is, in essence, pretty much harmless in nature: there’s no real money involved and it’s mostly used to track the life and death of memes. But now the for-real financial nerds at Forbes have decided to write an article analysing the data in a similar fashion to, well, a stock market analysis. And the whole thing is hilarious in a did-they-really-do-that way.
Planetary indications are indicating that the Bulls are getting tired and the Bears will spread their muscles by short selling. Profit booking by the buyers, short term traders and the retail investors will pull the Indices down. Mars will enter Capricorn sign and conjoin with Ketu on 2nd. Mars will aspect Sun in Aries. Although the Bears will try to create negative and dull sentiments yet the market will be led by the Bulls in the first week. Mercury, the planet of business & commerce, will enter in Aries sign and thus conjoin with Sun. It will be under the aspect of Mars & Jupiter. This planetary cocktail will keep the traders guessing and suddenly set Bearish tone. Sun will move to Taurus and Venus will move to Gemini on 14th. Venus will be under the aspect of Saturn & Jupiter. This will create a mixed reaction. Change in the trend will be visible from 27th, when Mercury will conjoin Sun in Taurus. Overall view for the May month is Bearish.
After creating an account, each trader will be gifted 1000 units of NASDANQ currency. By paying a specific (and undecided) amount of that fictional currency, a group of people will be able to create a “firm,” which will allow them to submit memes for NASDANQ consideration. Vaisman and Wink say if enough firms submit the same meme, it will factor into the algorithm’s decision to allow the meme onto the market.

I said there would be a big eruption in Iceland and India soon – which has not happened yet. However, in September 2016 I said in my predictions on my website and on my YouTube video: “I see volcanic problems around Italy around the area of Vesuvius and maybe the Island of Ischia.” (See also Hawaii prediction below) (Correct 10/10 Naples has had some of the worst earthquakes in many years. See Express 17 August 2018)

Tesco introduced a loyalty card, branded 'Clubcard' in 1995, and later an Internet shopping service. In 1996 the typeface of the logo was changed to the current version with stripe reflections underneath, whilst the corporate font used for shop signage was changed from the familiar "typewriter" font that had been used since the 1970s. Overseas operations were introduced the same year.[9] Terry Leahy assumed the role of Chief Executive on 21 February 1997, the appointment having been announced on 21 November 1995.[22][23]
I have also had a similar dream. I dreamed about 2 yrs ago that Chengde in China was hit with a massive quake. I was in Chengde and they had just finished building a new shopping complex, as well as apartments. All of the buildings were white and it was really beautiful. I was standing at the back of a building when this massive quake struck. This massive wave came thundering in and the tsunami was so big that it literally flattened the entire complex like a rolling pin. I remember lifting of the ground and was floating up above watching this when it happened. I heard the people that survived it say that was a 9.5 quake is anyone else alive?

Several universities have moved to put some of their curriculum online for free. MIT’s OpenCourseWare program has lecture notes available from an investment course originally taught in 2003, but the bones are still sound. Open Yale has courses available on economic and financial topics. Stanford’s self-study courses list can be searched by topic. Note that you won’t receive college credit for taking these courses online.
All of these options will provide a basis that can make you feel more comfortable reaching investing decisions, but the best investing decision is often to sit tight and ride out market waves. You shouldn’t be making any radical changes to your portfolio based on something you read or viewed in an online course like this; the goal is to get more comfortable with the markets in general.
I’m a bit late to this. Today the IMF live streamed an hour discussion about changes to global economy and it mirrored what you’ve been tracking and writing. The video is likely still on IMF site to watch. It was good tho scary. They said countries should embrace service economies entered on empathy especially targeting aging seniors. You’d like the video so wanted to mention it as you give us so much.

We hear very little about Australia, yet the economy is in trouble, Immigration is a huge issue, but of most concern is the head in the sand attitude to climate change. Opening up more coal mines, that kill the reef, and farm land , massive bush fires and cyclones. Where do you see Australia heading and is there any hope of a turn a round ? Thank you for your insight.
Stock market crashes are social phenomena where external economic events combine with crowd behavior and psychology in a positive feedback loop where selling by some market participants drives more market participants to sell. Generally speaking, crashes usually occur under the following conditions:[1] a prolonged period of rising stock prices and excessive economic optimism, a market where P/E ratios (Price-Earning ratio) exceed long-term averages, and extensive use of margin debt and leverage by market participants. Other aspects such as wars, large-corporation hacks, changes in federal laws and regulations, and natural disasters of highly economically productive areas may also influence a significant decline in the NYSE value of a wide range of stocks. All such stock drops may result in the rise of stock prices for corporations competing against the affected corporations.
In the golden age I foresee hope so much hope. All of our life’s will be full of love and so much growth, people will be able to achieve so many things that our minds can not at this moment comprehend. The love that people will experience is so deep that very few in this life have never experienced this before. I predict that people will experience freedom where they are no longer afraid they will have control over their fears rather than the other way round I promise you it will be amazing. I predict that this will start with the individual, individual healing, individual growth, individual’s love for oneself then collectively we will change, we will love we will grow.

Last time I spoke about right-wing riots in Germany. This too has happened and will continue to get worse through 2018. There will continue to be a cultural division within Germany and France and they will see worsening racial troubles and riots ahead. (CORRECT 10/10 Riots in Germany see 27th August “Guardian protests in the eastern city of Chemnitz” )
I have posted a Guest Blog Entry at the My Personal Finance Journey blog. It is called Investors Who Ignore Valuations Are Like Overeaters Who Ignore the Risk of Heart Disease. Juicy Excerpt: Raddr examines the numbers and concludes that: “The poor retiree’s real net worth has dropped nearly two-thirds (from $1,000 to $367) in only 11 years, and he is now withdrawing about 11 percent of his portfolio per year, which is a recipe for disaster even if the market heads up big-time from…

On October 29, William C. Durant joined with members of the Rockefeller family and other financial giants to buy large quantities of stocks to demonstrate to the public their confidence in the market, but their efforts failed to stop the large decline in prices. Due to the massive volume of stocks traded that day, the ticker did not stop running until about 7:45 p.m. The market had lost over $30 billion in the space of two days, including $14 billion on October 29 alone.[15]

Shilling is particularly worried about the $8 trillion in dollar-denominated emerging-market corporate and sovereign debt, especially as the U.S. dollar rises along with interest rates. “The problem is as the dollar increases,” he said, “it gets tougher and tougher for them to service [that debt] because it takes more and more of their local currency to do so.” Of that, $249 billion must be repaid or refinanced through next year, Bloomberg reported.
