As of 2015, there are a total of 60 stock exchanges in the world with a total market capitalization of $69 trillion. Of these, there are 16 exchanges with a market capitalization of $1 trillion or more, and they account for 87% of global market capitalization. Apart from the Australian Securities Exchange, these 16 exchanges are based in one of three continents: North America, Europe and Asia.[4]

Being a renowned astrologer is a bit like being a chess grandmaster: Lesser practitioners know how the pieces move, but virtuosos see the interconnectedness of each piece in solving the larger puzzle. That's to say that most astrologers can read natal charts and tick off a laundry list of future possibilities based on a set of rote rules related to planetary positioning, but Vashistha incorporates peerless astrology knowledge gained in formal academic training and experience with thousands of clients: He got his master’s in astrology at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India, and a Ph.D. in raja yoga, a part of Hindu astrology focused on planetary situations that indicate wealth and power. He sees the whole board, as it were.
The total value of equity-backed securities in the United States rose over 600% in the 25 years between 1989 and 2012 as market capitalization expanded from $2,790 billion to $18,668 billion.[12] Direct ownership of stock by individuals rose slightly from 17.8% in 1992 to 17.9% in 2007, with the median value of these holdings rising from $14,778 to $17,000.[13][14] Indirect participation in the form of retirement accounts rose from 39.3% in 1992 to 52.6% in 2007, with the median value of these accounts more than doubling from $22,000 to $45,000 in that time.[13][14] Rydqvist, Spizman, and Strebulaev attribute the differential growth in direct and indirect holdings to differences in the way each are taxed in the United States. Investments in pension funds and 401ks, the two most common vehicles of indirect participation, are taxed only when funds are withdrawn from the accounts. Conversely, the money used to directly purchase stock is subject to taxation as are any dividends or capital gains they generate for the holder. In this way the current tax code incentivizes individuals to invest indirectly.[15]
Refraining from tinkering with your portfolio, or even making dramatic changes such as fleeing to cash or switching to different investments altogether, may be challenging at times. That can especially be the case when the market appears to be going haywire and every news story and TV financial show you see seems to suggest that the market is on the verge of Armageddon.
Since Trump has already started a trade war with China and wouldn’t dare attack nuclear-armed North Korea, his last best target would be Iran. By provoking a military confrontation with that country, he would trigger a stagflationary geopolitical shock not unlike the oil-price spikes of 1973, 1979 and 1990. Needless to say, that would make the oncoming global recession even more severe.
Many astrologers like to characterize their method of reading a horoscope as "holistic", in an effort to escape criticisms from mechanistically-oriented skeptics. I prefer to think of chart analysis in terms of Boolean logic, where multiple factors must be present for a particular situation to occur. For example, we cannot expect stocks to inevitably rise when benefic Jupiter conjoins the natal Sun of the chart we are working with. Such a favourable pattern may be thought of as a necessary, but not sufficient condition for price increases. There must also be an absence of negative factors hitting the key chart points. These would include few close aspects from malefic planets, no planets transiting malefic houses (6th, 8th, 12th) and so on. Given the large number of variables every chart contains, there will be several significant operating planetary contacts and influences at any given time. These must all be evaluated for their relative effects of prices according to the principles of Boolean analysis. If we are trying to assess if the conditions are in place for a bull market, for example, we could construct a table that more clearly reflects this logical process.

Welcome to the July 2012 Carnival of Passive Investing, a monthly collection of the best and most intelligent Passive Investing strategy articles around the internet. Some people foolishly want to beat the market (want being the key word) but we just want to invest with it. The purpose of the carnival is two-fold: To provide a forum to showcase articles and research in passive investing strategies (i.e. investing in ETFs, index mutual funds, etc. in such a way that one avoids…

Lilith is not part of modern astrology as she has no family relationship to the original, classical planets – Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Astrology is based on planets, asteroids and other heavenly bodies which all have a logical connection to each other, and Lilith simply doesn’t. The reason some astrology students use her is possibly because she’s been included in old 20th century ephemerides, but you won’t find her in the charts you get here – so please don’t bother. You have a very complicated chart when it comes to money. I am not surprised you feel you never have an easy break with finances. You were born with the Moon at 25 Taurus, just two degrees away from Mars at 27 Taurus. Chiron is also at 19 Taurus. Meanwhile, right opposite, you have Uranus at 27 Scorpio, so he is exactly opposite your natal Mars. Very hard work! Panacea at 16 Taurus and Bacchus at 21 Taurus complete this stellium (unusually high number of factors) in your Second House. You won’t experience any changes until transiting Uranus travels all the way to 16, and then as he moves through to 19, 21, 25 and 27 many years from now, you will find your values change quite substantially. Your values now really revolve around what you will sell your soul for/refuse to sell your soul for. Everyone has some kind of price. Your values are also about who or what you consider to be precious or even priceless. Some people are Marxists and some people are shopaholics. Some give to charity and some avoid tax because they disagree with the government. Some drop out and live off the grid and some work in banks. Worrying is not necessary but you do need to stay open and remain informed. You will feel the bump/the bang of Uranus entering your Second House in mid-May and that is when you need to do a ton of reading, and a lot of talking. There is an inner conflict here between your Mars in Taurus in the Second House at 27 Taurus and Uranus in the Eighth House at 27 Scorpio. You feel the urge to act, to push, to fight (if required) and to compete, when it comes to all that you earn, own or owe. At the same time, whenever you strike out like this, you hit internal conflicts or inner opposition, as there is a part of you which is endlessly inventive, productive and creative when it comes to money, charity, business, houses, possessions or apartments – but you reject what comes, and are then knocked sideways by it anyway. You essentially upset your own apple cart. You need to look up Mars, Uranus, Second House, Eighth House, Taurus, Scorpio on Search and get to know yourself really well before this cycle begins. On the plus side, Jupiter (abundance, expansion, growth, fortunate outcomes, hope, solutions) will reach 27 Scorpio in the final months of this year and you will find that as he conjuncts Uranus in your chart and opposes Mars, you will have a huge open door. I’m not saying the lock won’t take work, and the key won’t be hard to find – but the door will be wide open and it could lead somewhere astonishing for you.

This event demonstrated that share prices can fall dramatically even though no generally agreed upon definite cause has been found: a thorough search failed to detect any 'reasonable' development that might have accounted for the crash. (Note that such events are predicted to occur strictly by chance, although very rarely.) It seems also to be the case more generally that many price movements (beyond that which are predicted to occur 'randomly') are not occasioned by new information; a study of the fifty largest one-day share price movements in the United States in the post-war period seems to confirm this.[56]

In other words, bear markets are part of investing. You can’t avoid them – but you can make sure a bear market doesn’t wipe you out. Rule number one is to diversify, and periodically rebalance your portfolio. When a correction, stock market crash or bear market comes along, the stocks that fall the most are those that are trading at the highest valuations, those with the most debt, and those with the lowest margins.
It’s not going to create 4% [GDP] growth. Business might feel good for a couple of quarters, but there isn’t anything to build on. You can give companies a trillion dollars, but what are they going to do with it? Just buy back stock and pay dividends to their shareholders. They don’t need to expand. We’ve got excess supply here and around the world. We don’t need businesses to invest in a lot of new capacity. We already did that in the boom.
I had a dream on the 14th of September of a London school where most of the students seemed to be Muslim but it was still multicultural. It was class time and suddenly there was a major panic throughout the school. It appeared that members of IS were walking through the corridors and classrooms and killing random students/teachers. People were trying to escape and the general setting was pure panic. I don’t know if this dream is telling me that we can expect a terror attack in a school in the UK in the near future? Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes the best way to learn about investing is to learn from people who’ve done it successfully. Thanks to our culture of over-sharing on the internet, several successful investors have taken their secrets online to teach others how to invest for themselves. Some of these blogs include InvestorJunkie.com, FinancialMentor.com, TheCollegeInvestor.com and IWillTeachYouToBeRich.com. Some of these bloggers are advisors and well-known financial experts, others are former hedge fund managers, and even still others are just average joes with a penchant for investing.
Other important economic barometers were also slowing or even falling by mid-1929, including car sales, house sales, and steel production. The falling commodity and industrial production may have dented even American self-confidence, and the stock market peaked on September 3 at 381.17 just after Labor Day, then started to falter after Roger Babson issued his prescient "market crash" forecast. By the end of September, the market was down 10% from the peak (the "Babson Break"). Selling intensified in early and mid October, with sharp down days punctuated by a few up days. Panic selling on huge volume started the week of October 21 and intensified and culminated on October 24, the 28th, and especially the 29th ("Black Tuesday").[26]
I am involved with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, and believe that they will soon be transformational and liberating. I also hope that my efforts in this space will bring abundance to my own family. With several factors you mention (Sun 6, Uranus 3, desc 5, NN 21 Scorpio; asc 5 and south node 21 Taurus; Mars and IC in Cancer) should I be aggressive in pursuing gains this year? I was timid and defensive in the aftermath of the last financial crisis and paid a big price in terms of missed opportunities. I feel like I’m wiser and more informed now, and want this time to be different.
“The Problem Stems From the Fact That We Didn’t Always Know Everything There Is to Know About How Stock Investing Works, and When Shiller Published His Nobel-Prize-Winning Research, the Buy-and-Holders Elected to Ignore It Rather Than to Work Up the Courage to Say the Words ‘I’ and ‘Was’ and ‘Wrong.’ Now We Are in a Trap. It Is Now 500 Times Harder for Bogle and the Other Buy-and-Holders to Say Those Words Than It Would Have Been to Say Them 37 Years Ago.”
r/MemeEconomy is a quirky solution, a subreddit in which people discuss memes as if they’re real-world commodities. If a meme is just beginning to bubble up online, you say you’re going to BUY. If a meme has peaked, you SELL, SELL, SELL. No real money is involved. The game is just an artifice with which to vocalize your commentary as a knowledgeable insider. It’s intentionally tongue in cheek, talking “investments” without seeming too invested.

Watch out for economic chaos in 2019 - 2020, and watch what Putin the Antichrist, the 1st horseman, is doing in Russia, such as invading Ukraine and intervening in Syria. I recently posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Future Storm blog. It's entitled What the Stock Investing Experts Don't Want You to Know. Juicy Excerpt: The experts are experts in selling first, second, third and fourth. They don’t tell us what we need to know about stocks but only what we want to know about stocks. We all wanted to think that those insane prices could continue indefinitely. That was of course a hopeless dream. But the experts did not want to be the ones to let us know. They…
The stock market crash of October 1929 led directly to the Great Depression in Europe. When stocks plummeted on the New York Stock Exchange, the world noticed immediately. Although financial leaders in the United Kingdom, as in the United States, vastly underestimated the extent of the crisis that would ensue, it soon became clear that the world's economies were more interconnected than ever. The effects of the disruption to the global system of financing, trade, and production and the subsequent meltdown of the American economy were soon felt throughout Europe.[39]

Jump up ^ The concept of the bourse (or the exchange) was 'invented' in the medieval Low Countries (most notably in predominantly Dutch-speaking cities like Bruges and Antwerp) before the birth of formal stock exchanges in the 17th century. Until the early 1600s, a bourse was not exactly a stock exchange in its modern sense. With the founding of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) in 1602 and the rise of Dutch capital markets in the early 17th century, the 'old' bourse (a place to trade commodities, government and municipal bonds) found a new purpose – a formal exchange that specialize in creating and sustaining secondary markets in the securities (such as bonds and shares of stock) issued by corporations – or a stock exchange as we know it today.[5][6]
August has been a study in contrasts, another month in which calm persisted in the U.S. despite jarring news flow. Daily volume dropped to an average of 6.1 billion shares, the second lowest since last October. Negative headlines flashed, from an escalation in trade tensions to emerging market turmoil to continued political chaos in Washington. Yet none was enough to rock the market out of its slumber.
In the United Kingdom Tesco offers financial services through Tesco Bank, formerly a 50:50 joint venture with The Royal Bank of Scotland. Products on offer include credit cards, loans, mortgages, savings accounts and several types of insurance, including car, home, life and travel. They are promoted by leaflets in Tesco's shops and through its website. The business made a profit of £130 million for the 52 weeks to 24 February 2007, of which Tesco's share was £66 million. This move towards the financial sector diversified the Tesco brand and provides opportunities for growth outside of the retailing sector. On 28 July 2008, Tesco announced that they would buy out the Royal Bank of Scotland's 50% stake in the company for £950 million.[77]
I recently wrote a Guest Blog Entry for the My Journey to Millions blog. It's called The More You Know About Investing, the Less You Know About Investing. Juicy Excerpt: The experts can learn new things faster than I can. They have all sorts of tools available to them to keep up with developments in the field. They’re driving 90 miles per hour while I’m poking along at 25. Still, I possess an edge. I’m driving at a far slower speed but in the right direction. It makes a…
It is not a big surprise, however, that many investors today remain interested in the forecasts of financial analysts regardless of their success. Humans in the past consulted oracles, crystal balls and tea leaves. It’s in our nature: As the proverb goes, “tell me a fact, and I'll learn; tell me a truth, and I’ll believe; but tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever.” We are attracted to story-telling, and when it comes to investing we seem to be searching for the most compelling narratives about the unknowable future, regardless of how accurate they turn out to be.
Can I guarantee this approach will lead to the best results over the long-term? Of course not. But at least you'll be following a disciplined rational strategy rather than engaging in a never-ending guessing game of trying to decide when to get out of the market (and where to put your money once you do) and then trying to figure out when to get back in. That's a game you can't consistently win.

In Professor Sornette’s model, a bubble is a market heading to a critical point. But a crash is not the only possible post-crisis outcome: Prices can also stop rising and reach a higher plateau. It is precisely because of the small but real probability that a bubble will not crash but simply stop growing that it is rational for some investors to stay in the market, even when if they think that it has gone too far, too fast.

I was hoping that you wouldn’t predict about India-Pakistan conflict this year. That’s because I had heard from somebody else several months ago about Pakistan and China together attacking India in 2018, and was hoping that he was wrong. Is it going to be a war or is it going to be a small conflict? God may mitigate the situation but to what extent? I live in India, not too far from Pakistani border. I’m wondering if I should start packing my bags.

In July 2013 Tesco security staff violated the UK Equality Act 2010 by refusing to allow a blind lady's guide dog to enter the Feltham shop. Tesco staff refused to apologise for the violation of the law for 5 days.[156] It was also revealed that security staff had thrice previously ordered a different blind person and his guide dog to leave the shop.[157] Following further incident in 2013 when the manager of Tesco in Sutton ordered a blind person and her guide dog to leave the shop, Tesco stated that their staff had received training to ensure that such an incident would not happen again.[158] However, a year later in 2014 three Tesco cashiers banned a blind person and her dog from their shop.[159]

But as investors, haunted by the trauma of the Great Recession, they have been mostly cautious. Many young people struggling to find work retreated back to school or into part-time work. For millennials living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes bunking with their parents, saving for retirement seemed a remote priority as they watched debts pile up.

I’m a bit late to this. Today the IMF live streamed an hour discussion about changes to global economy and it mirrored what you’ve been tracking and writing. The video is likely still on IMF site to watch. It was good tho scary. They said countries should embrace service economies entered on empathy especially targeting aging seniors. You’d like the video so wanted to mention it as you give us so much.
I will consider here three diseases that are a threat to mankind: AIDS, Ebola , and Influenza. The virus that causes AIDS, HIV, was discovered in 1983, so we will associate AIDS with the number 83. The galaxy M83 is in the constellation Hydra, which was a multi-headed serpent in mythology that kept growing a new head, each time a head was cut off. This sounds like AIDS, which keeps mutating to allow it to get around any treatment or vaccine. The Hydra was defeated by Hercules, by his nephew Iolaus burning each of the mortal heads as Hercules cut them off, and burying the immortal head under a stone. I wonder if this mythology story could somehow be a clue on how to treat AIDS? Note that the AIDS virus has 9213=111x83 bits of genetic information, so again we see the number 83 again.
Of course your sister works in a bank – Mars in Taurus is suited to that. Uranus will not cross her Mars completely until 2019 so she has time, but essentially everything from climate change, to new banks, to new government rules, to devaluation of currency (and of course cryptocurrency) is going to sweep her world, very quickly. She can make this work for her but she’s going to have to be in the first wave.
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is a physical exchange, with a hybrid market for placing orders electronically from any location as well as on the trading floor. Orders executed on the trading floor enter by way of exchange members and flow down to a floor broker, who submits the order electronically to the floor trading post for the Designated Market Maker ("DMM") for that stock to trade the order. The DMM's job is to maintain a two-sided market, making orders to buy and sell the security when there are no other buyers or sellers. If a spread exists, no trade immediately takes place – in this case the DMM may use their own resources (money or stock) to close the difference. Once a trade has been made, the details are reported on the "tape" and sent back to the brokerage firm, which then notifies the investor who placed the order. Computers play an important role, especially for program trading.
Also, the Astrological events of August 1999 (a solar eclipse seen in Europe and a rare alignment of planets in a cross shape) is discussed. Possible Antichrist sighting: I think the Antichrist is the Russian President elected in March 2000, Vlad Putin, and the Red Dragon that Putin the Antichrist will be allied with is China, as well as Iran. And the planetary alignment of 5/5/2000 with the sun and planets on one side of the earth is discussed, note that Vladimir Putin was inaugurated as President of Russia 2 days later on May 7, 2000. And on November 4 2003 there was the largest solar flare ever seen, when Putin was in Rome, and on Nov. 8 there was a lunar eclipse and a grand sextile hexagon shaped astrology pattern, again indicating Putin is the Antichrist; apparently Putin visiting Rome, which is connected with the Antichrist in Bible prophecy, resulted in a tremendous Satanic force that resulted in the giant solar flare on Nov. 4 2003, see this page. And the possibility of a doomsday asteroid or comet collision with earth is discussed, note that in 2002 there were several asteroid near-misses with earth; and a King James Bible Code matrix may predict an asteroid hit in the ocean within a few years, causing a giant tidal wave. A suggestion: a great economic stimulus project would be to build an asteroid defense for earth, for a few billion $ NASA could build an asteroid defense using interceptor rockets, and this would create jobs in the U.S..
However, in 1929 we didn’t have have the same rules, regulations and stop gaps that were put into place later so even though the aspects were not as insane as they were in the 2008 chart – it clearly was enough for an innate volatile and unchecked market to plunge. In this chart Uranus is going through the 8th (other people’s money 8th and Uranus=volatility) Pluto was making an applying square to the Moon in the 8th and the lights were Mercury/Sun midpoint on the natal Jupiter/Neptune conjunction which opposes the natal Saturn/Moon opposition. So basically there is a T-Square from Pluto in Cancer being triggered by those faster moving planets. And the general volatility of Uranus in the 8th and the time period where there were less controls over the market made it take a plunge. Neptune was also conjunct the cusp – just hitting the first house. That big shift over that 1st house on the angle was also a major contributor despite the fact that it was making a trine to Venus. Whenever a big planet hits that point something should happen. Otherwise that T-square (by the Pluto in Cancer transit) should have had a counterpoint when Pluto hits that same point in opposition like – oops, NOW!
Set forth below is the text of a comment that I recently posted to the discussion thread for another blog entry at this site: Can we count on you for discussing the death threats and job threats over on this new board as well? I never lead with the death threats and the job threats. The substantive stuff is what matters most and people hate to hear about the death threats and the job threats. But as a society we have to deal with the death threats and job threats before the substantive stuff can get widely known. Shiller published his “revolutionary” (his word) research 37 years ago. The obvious question that anyone asks when someone tells them about the realities of stock investing is: “Why haven’t I heard about this before?” It’s not possible to explain the 37-year cover-up without making reference to the death threats and job threats. It’s not possible to pull something like this off without death threats and job threats. There are other things that help to explain the 37-year cover-up. Cognitive dissonance is a big one. The counter-intuitive nature of some of the realities. Just the fact that we don’t know it all. Ignorance. That’s a factor that should not be overlooked. I talk about that stuff. I don’t talk only about death threats and job threats. I never have and I never will. My job is to tell the story. Death threats and job threats are part of the story. So I will tell about them when necessary and to the extent necessary. I try not to put too much emphasis on them. Because they are not the entire story. I try to give them the right amount of attention, not too much and not too little. I wish that there had never been any death threats or job threats. But that’s not the world we live in. That’s not the reality. We don’t get fewer death threats and fewer job threats by ignoring them, by never talking about them. Ignoring them causes us to see more death threats and more job threats. I am 100 percent sure. Our problem has not been that we have talked too little about death threats and job threats. By not talking about those that have taken place, we have caused more of them to take place. Which is of course not the way that any of […]
An increasingly good way to learn about investing is to listen to podcasts. It’s no secret that podcasts are very popular. In 2013, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) announced that podcasts had surpassed 1 billion downloads in the iTunes store. The popularity has continued to grow since then, and it's paved the way for a rapidly growing educational resource: financial podcasts.
“The shift from active to passive asset management, and specifically the decline of active value investors, reduces the ability of the market to prevent and recover from large drawdowns,” Joyce Chang and Jan Loeys wrote in the Monday note. Actively managed accounts make up only about one-third of equity assets under management, with active single-name trading responsible for just 10 per cent or so of trading volume, JPMorgan estimates.

Rajan turned out to be a party pooper, questioning whether “advances” in the financial sector actually increased, rather than reduced, systemic risk. Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers called him a Luddite. “…I felt like an early Christian who had wandered into a convention of half-starved lions,” he wrote. But though delivered in genteel academic lingo, his paper was powerful and prescient.

The crash in 1987 raised some puzzles – main news and events did not predict the catastrophe and visible reasons for the collapse were not identified. This event raised questions about many important assumptions of modern economics, namely, the theory of rational human conduct, the theory of market equilibrium and the efficient-market hypothesis. For some time after the crash, trading in stock exchanges worldwide was halted, since the exchange computers did not perform well owing to enormous quantity of trades being received at one time. This halt in trading allowed the Federal Reserve System and central banks of other countries to take measures to control the spreading of worldwide financial crisis. In the United States the SEC introduced several new measures of control into the stock market in an attempt to prevent a re-occurrence of the events of Black Monday.

“ The stock market — the daytime adventure serial of the well-to-do — would not be the stock market if it did not have its ups and downs. (...) And it has many other distinctive characteristics. Apart from the economic advantages and disadvantages of stock exchanges — the advantage that they provide a free flow of capital to finance industrial expansion, for instance, and the disadvantage that they provide an all too convenient way for the unlucky, the imprudent, and the gullible to lose their money — their development has created a whole pattern of social behavior, complete with customs, language, and predictable responses to given events. What is truly extraordinary is the speed with which this pattern emerged full blown following the establishment, in 1611, of the world's first important stock exchange — a roofless courtyard in Amsterdam — and the degree to which it persists (with variations, it is true) on the New York Stock Exchange in the nineteen-sixties. Present-day stock trading in the United States — a bewilderingly vast enterprise, involving millions of miles of private telegraph wires, computers that can read and copy the Manhattan Telephone Directory in three minutes, and over twenty million stockholder participants — would seem to be a far cry from a handful of seventeenth-century Dutchmen haggling in the rain. But the field marks are much the same. The first stock exchange was, inadvertently, a laboratory in which new human reactions were revealed. By the same token, the New York Stock Exchange is also a sociological test tube, forever contributing to the human species' self-understanding. The behaviour of the pioneering Dutch stock traders is ably documented in a book entitled “Confusion of Confusions,” written by a plunger on the Amsterdam market named Joseph de la Vega; originally published in 1688, (...) ”
Many people have predicted World War 3 taking place soon with Putin’s official announcement in late February 2018 of Russia’s invincible nuclear capability where the nuclear missiles are impossible to be detected by US when launched https://youtu.be/gSuv0CzSnts Many devoted Christians also have similar dreams from God warning of Russia and China invading US and Russian nuclear missiles bombing New York City such as https://unitedstatesprophecy.com/russia-will-attack-and-invade-america/

As I said, the Antichrist will appear to be a good man, and will appear to be the saviour of mankind. "Satan comes as an angel of light". Osama bin Laden I think is the Angel of the Bottomless pit, or The Destroyer, mentioned in Revelation 9:11, a demon or unclean spirit from the depths of Hell, who creates this world crisis we are seeing now that will result in the rise to power of the Antichrist, who is the Satanic Christ, past Russian President Putin. Putin has been praised around the world for bringing stability and economic prosperity to Russia, which under Yeltsin had been headed for anarchy and economic chaos. And in the future Putin may have a key role in building a space defense against asteroids, since an asteroid could be headed for earth; this was announced in December 2009, that Russia may intercept an asteroid that could hit earth in the future. Another way Putin will come to world power as the Antichrist is by controlling the world's Natural Gas reserves, Russia having the world's largest Natural Gas reserves. It appears that Putin controlling Natural Gas reserves and prices is a key way that he can control the world economy.
"Sornette's book is not just about finance and economics; it is also a mesmerizing introduction to game theory, fractals, catastrophe theory, critical phenomena, and much more. No prior knowledge of finance or economics is needed to understand the book. . . . Throughout the book, Sornette makes numerous, vivid comparisons with many other fields in which the various mathematical tools he describes can be applied."---Frank Cuypers, , Physics Today
Blind optimism over the tax cuts have led Wall Street analysts to produce a 2019 forward earnings estimate that's 46% greater than the most recent 12-month operating earnings for the S&P 500, he said. "The combination of extreme valuations and extreme earnings expectations creates a situation that's ripe for disappointment," wrote Hussman in a recent blog post on his company site.
Any backlash won’t come until after NASDANQ is live. The team has been working on the project since August, but Vaisman admits “it’s taking some time.” He says once the NASDANQ website launches (at a to-be-determined date, with a mobile app coming later), the algorithm will probably have to be tweaked several times before it feels accurate. Wink says the ultimate goal is to find “the equation for one meme across every website and every platform.”
Thanks so much for all your amazing insights Jessica! I think you are truly incredible the way you respond to all your subscriber’s queries!! I posted this earlier on, but think it may have been missed in the deluge of interest in this article, so my profoundest apologies for the repetition. If, for some reason, you are unable to reply at this stage, I do understand. I’m intrigued by the Taurus 24 pattern … I have an almost precise quincunx between my Saturn at Capricorn 24 and Leo North Node at 24. My Ceres is also at 22 Taurus and I have Fortuna at Scorpio 1 and Mars at Scorpio 20 … how is this likely to impact on my finances? I’m considering buying a Duplex property with my 0 degrees Taurus Sun/Uranus return Mum (birthdate 21/4/35) who also has her natal Jupiter at Scorpio 20 (conjunct my Mars), her Moon at Scorpio 28 (conjunct my Bachus/Prosperina) and her Fortuna at Scorpio 17. This might give us a chance, together with my Stepdad, to relocate closer to the water and to the countryside south of Sydney which would be a dream come true for all of us. I worry about the physical and psychological impact of a move on her though given that she has had 50 years in the one house – and any isolation it might create for me as a musician, artist and teacher. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks Jessica :)
The smooth functioning of all these activities facilitates economic growth in that lower costs and enterprise risks promote the production of goods and services as well as possibly employment. In this way the financial system is assumed to contribute to increased prosperity, although some controversy exists as to whether the optimal financial system is bank-based or market-based.[51]

Sree Veerabrahmendra Swamy still has a big following in India I believe. The prophecy of the war between China and India has been predicted by other swamis too but they may have been drawing from the same source. I deleted the link to your website (Google punished websites that link out) but have since taken a look and it is interesting so include it again here in case other visitors find it useful.
So are we at the fiat of fate and going to be helplessly at the mercy of these events? We can change our personal fate and the fate of the world by harnessing the power of consciousness that I spoke about at the start of this piece. Thoughts are things and can influence future events. If they are powerful enough and fueled by compassion then they will protect you personally but also influence the course of history.
Hi Craig. Thanks for your predictions for 2018. As a UK’er now living in Australia I would like more on Australia if possible. I also wanted to comment on the ‘strikes in the UK’ that you said was not good as it is disruptive. Well sometimes disruption is necessary because many people are suffering. Yes I do my best to be kind and send out positive thoughts / feelings and follow a spiritual path, but as we are embodied conscious beings and many people are in dire straits due to the greed of a few – doesn’t some form of action need to be taken? And as wage slaves, withdrawal of labor is the obvious option. People often only strike because they are in dire need and a strike is the only way they can afford to alert the powers-that-be that something MUST change. On a personal level I have withdrawn my support from the “buy, buy, buy” mantra and live as simply as I can within this society, but when the basics such as food and shelter become unaffordable and urgent for individuals more needs to be done by all of us to honor our embodied spirit (our bodies as temples wherein we worship the divine) as well as the natural world in the wider cosmos. As an astrologer I feel the spiritual energy of Uranus, which is disruptive and brings rapid change is equally valid as the peaceful path don’t you think?

But how about in the past, were there any particular planetary alignments during times of economic problems? Yes, there is a general pattern we shall discuss here. During the October 1987 and October 1929 stock exchange crashes, the Planet Saturn was in the Astrological sign of Sagittarius. The significance of this is that Sagittarius, the combined horse/man, with Saturn having a connection in Greek / Roman / Etruscan mythology to agriculture as well as weights and measures and coins, means that Saturn in Sagittarius represents the third Horseman of the Apocalypse, economic depression. When Saturn is in Sagittarius you may get the trigger event, such as a stock market crash, that begins an economic depression.

Watch out for economic chaos in 2019 - 2020, and watch what Putin the Antichrist, the 1st horseman, is doing in Russia, such as invading Ukraine and intervening in Syria. Relate to Revelation 15 plagues. The 4th horseman Death could be riding as a Flu epidemic, possibly Bird Flu, Zika virus SARS. Disasters for the world in 2019 - 2020: flu epidemic, earthquakes, volcanos, solar flares, asteroids hit earth, the Antichrist Putin. The 2nd horseman War and 3rd horseman economic chaos riding in 2019 - 2020.
You predicted a hard Brexit and at the last minute Germany would press the EU to do a deal. Reading recently and with the vote in parliament along with several capitulations, I am beginning to get really concerned that the vote to leave will not be respected and we never leave. What now for the UK? It looks bad news. Are you still confident in what you have predicted, I truly hope you are right.

Memes, News, and Twitter: OX WS T or "With all my Administration has done on Legislative Approvals (broke Harry Truman's Record), Regulation Cutting, Judicial Appointments, Building Military, VA, TAX CUTS & REFORM, Record Economy/Stock Market and so much more, I am sure great credit will be given by mainstream news?"" ー@realDonaldTrump Moments ago, President Donald J. Trump wondered on Twitter whether the "mainstream news" would ever give him credit for his purported accomplishments in office.
I recently engaged in a discussion of the Efficient Market Theory at the Early Retirement Extreme Forum. The thread is titled Is Efficient Market a Theory, Hypothesis, Fact, Law or Notion? Juicy Excerpt #1: I want to be fair in my descriptions. I don't want to underplay the extent to which I believe the evidence has been misinterpreted. I believe that this misinterpretation has caused a great deal of misery. So I want to be firm on this point. But I also want to be fair. I don't want to be…

Currently, the U.S. stock market is in the midst of one of the longest bull markets in its history. Since bottoming out in March 2009, the broad-based S&P 500 (INDEX: ^GSPC), led by a strong rally in technology stocks and other growth industries, has surged by more than 325%! Mind you, the stock market has historically returned 7% a year, inclusive of dividend reinvestment and adjusted for inflation. So, to say that things are going well right now would be an understatement.
