When do we see Uranus in Taurus and Jupiter in Scorpio circle 2, 3, 4 degrees and 22, 23, 24 degrees respectively? These are the dates set for London in 2018. Allow up to 24 hours either side for world time zones. I am writing this exactly one month ahead of time: On Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th May the world will enter Global Financial Crisis 2. The difference this time is – if you invent, innovate and co-create a radically different new business, taxation and trade world with like-minded people – you will gain in 2018, 2019, 2020 and beyond. Why? That is what Uranus in Taurus is here to achieve. A revolution which sets you and others free.
A core part of the Tesco expansion strategy[103] has been its innovative use of technology.[104] It was one of the first to build self-service tills and use cameras to reduce queues, and an early adopter of NFC contactless payment card technology.[105] In 2016, Tesco developed a mobile payment wallet, PayQwiq using both NFC contactless and barcode technology to allow payment using mobile phones in-shop (along with supporting other contactless mobile wallets such as ApplePay).[106]
We had a combination of 42 and 7 year financial panic cycles that last came due in 2014 that I wrote about in my book “The Prosperity Clock”. I was very concerned then that that time frame would produce a major bear market and Depression. But all it produced was the relatively minor 2015–2016 bear market. But that being said, we are still within the margin of error of that long term cycle combination still kicking in. Normally I only like to give it two years, but given the way the US market is trading currently, I would be watching the market very closely in the late Summer and early Fall of this year.

Six Days in October is exceptionally well written! As an adult I appreciated the thorough research, helpful explanations and easy flow of the material. I learned information I did not know, yet should have learned long ago. Middle School readers on up can learn from and appreciate this book. I donated it to our local school's library when I finished it, because I think it is especially useful for students.

"Charlie and I view the marketable common stocks that Berkshire owns as interests in businesses, not as ticker symbols to be bought or sold based on their 'chart' patterns, the 'target' prices of analysts or the opinions of media pundits. Instead, we simply believe that if the businesses of the investees are successful (as we believe most will be) our investments will be successful as well."
Statistics show that in recent decades, shares have made up an increasingly large proportion of households' financial assets in many countries. In the 1970s, in Sweden, deposit accounts and other very liquid assets with little risk made up almost 60 percent of households' financial wealth, compared to less than 20 percent in the 2000s. The major part of this adjustment is that financial portfolios have gone directly to shares but a good deal now takes the form of various kinds of institutional investment for groups of individuals, e.g., pension funds, mutual funds, hedge funds, insurance investment of premiums, etc.

Because they’ve got the frackers sitting on them. Every time oil gets back to $50 or $60, the frackers start cranking up again, and then they get excess supply. The Saudi princes are saying we’ll never see $100 oil again, and I agree — or at least not for a very, very long time. I see oil at pretty much between $20 and $60 for decades. And we won’t see natural gas at $14 again — because of fracking.

A number of personal finance bloggers have engaged in a good discussion of The Matter That Consumes Us All at the thread at the Hope to Prosper Blog relating to my guest post titled The Economic Crisis Is the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Us. Of particular import is an exchange between the blogger Roshawn @ Watson Inc. and me, set forth below: Roshawn @ Watson Inc: Okay Rob, Your article has intrigued me. My immediate inclination is the same as Bret: cool concept but applying it…
To help the US government quell the civil unrest. This reminded me of Mr Hamilton-Parker’s past prediction of Canadian troops coming to the aid of the US to put an end to civil unrest. In a subsequent video he said that that was a wrong prediction as it did not happen. Since the Naadi leaves predict the same, could it be that this event is still in the future?

His biggest worry is the bond market, which he fears rising inflation will smash, with dire consequences. He made these remarks in January, on Bloomberg Television. Since then, the bond market is indeed in negative territory, although its fall hasn’t been precipitous. Inflation has nudged up, yet at a thus-far tame pace. The big worry is an inverted yield curve, where the two-year Treasury yields more than the 10-year, an infallible portent of recession.
And because memes can have different lifespans on different platforms, they never really die, which is important to consider if you’re in the market to sell. “Memes have a tendency to resurge,” Wink says. “You’ll have a meme gain popularity, die out in a month, and then a year later suddenly it’s very popular again. Kermit has had three iterations that have died and then come back.”
When our Schumpeterian trader from Chicago muses about the relationship between Earth and other celestial bodies, he implies some electromagnetic or gravitational pull. Something sciencey. Weingarten’s financial astrology is more ethereal. More … pagan. The reason Saturn has to deal with limitation or reality is that Saturn is the Roman name of the Greek titan Cronus, aka Father Time. Saturn stands for the passage of time. It is melancholic; it’s why we have the word saturnine. It’s why Weingarten called b.s. on Bitcoin.

A stock exchange is an exchange (or bourse)[note 1] where stock brokers and traders can buy and sell shares of stock, bonds, and other securities. Many large companies have their stocks listed on a stock exchange. This makes the stock more liquid and thus more attractive to many investors. The exchange may also act as a guarantor of settlement. Other stocks may be traded "over the counter" (OTC), that is, through a dealer. Some large companies will have their stock listed on more than one exchange in different countries, so as to attract international investors.[7]
I've posted Entry #5 to my monthly column at the Balance Junkie site. It's called Five Things Tim Tebow Can Teach Us About Stock Investing. Juicy Excerpt:  The poll shows that the explanations people give for liking Tebow or Manning are rationalizations. People decide for emotional reasons who to support and then turn on the brainpower to concoct explanations for those emotional beliefs that sound sensible. When stocks are priced at three times fair value, there will be dozens of reasons…
It’s hard prepping on limited funds especially with young children, believe me I know. Every two weeks when I get groceries I take an extra $20 and get basic staples to store in my emergency pantry. It doesn’t seem like much but it adds up especially If you use it a Aldis, shop n save, etc. Then when I have extra cash I use it on the other important things besides food. Just keep going your doin a lot better than most. Your kids will thank you for it. 🙂
Your thoughts are profound and most of them very well corresponds with the warnings of the Muslim saints and seers. You do not sound like” a religious maniac” at all and I think most of what you have foretold in your(Latest World Predictions for 2017) will God-willing come to pass. All of us as members of the same human family, have a duty to pray for peace, unity and happiness for the entire suffering humanity. All acts violence against innocent people across the globe ought to be condemned.

Regarding Trump, he will become ‘ill’, through stress. It seems to more of A mental health issue. I don’t think it will happen until the end of next year. He will become increasingly agoraphobic withdrawing to the Trump residences. I always saw Obama as the last properly elected President Of the United States. Increasingly and necessarily States will become self-governing as well as small independent communities.
There was a chart floating around in early 2014 that had a 97.5% correlation between the stock market of 1928-29 and the stock market of 2013-14. That chart boldly predicted a massive stock market crash in 2014. Instead, from when the market was supposed to crash into the end of the year, stocks rose nearly 10%, and were in the middle of the longest bull market in history.

Though he hails from a little-known town in southeastern Nepal called Jhapa, Vashistha has gained international recognition for his ability to read the stars. In 2017, he was named the best astrologer in Asia by the Asian Astrologer Congress and the World Astrology Federation. His readings focus more on substantive geopolitical predictions and personal fortunes than hokey horoscope drivel, and his regular clients include Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala, and American celebrities whose names he wouldn’t reveal. All of them treat his readings as gospel, so seldom is he wrong.

Set forth below is the text of a comment that I recently posted to the discussion thread for another blog entry at this site: “I hope that helps a bit. I have heard of the Coffeehouse Portfolio. I don’t know what the Cowards Portfolio is. I obviously get it that a three-fund portfolio would include three funds but I couldn’t tell you what those three funds would be. These questions don’t interest me too much.” So you don’t really know what is in all those portfolios as well as their strategy, yet you say that they will all lose 50% of their value and that VII is superior. I don’t say that. It’s the last 37 years of peer-reviewed research in this field that says that. I REPORT it. I am a reporter. That’s the kind of thing we do. We don’t just push smiley-face marketing slogans. We REPORT realities. What if these funds went by the name of “The Irrational Exuberance Portfolio”? Do you think that would sell? Why do you think they don’t do it that way? It’s because they want to turn a quick buck. Valuation-Informed Indexing is what works. Buy-and-Hold is what sells. It can’t all be about marketing. When millions of middle-class people see their lifetime savings wiped out, they are going to get angry. When they learn that there were people trying to tell them what the last 37 years of peer-reviewed research teaches us about how stock investing works in the real world, their anger is going to intensify. The Buy-and-Hold marketing slogans will be spoken as obscenities in those days. Not a good thing. There’s plenty of money to be made in this field telling the truth. You could have all these funds and still tell people the truth about the need to practice price discipline (long-term timing) when buying stocks and the funds would actually work and people would like them. The problem stems from the fact that we didn’t always know everything there is to know about how stock investing works, and when Shiller published his Nobel-prize-winning research, the Buy-and-Holders elected to ignore it rather than to work up the courage to say the words “I’ and “Was” and “Wrong.” Now we are in a trap. It is now 500 times harder for Bogle and the other Buy-and-Holders to say those words than it would have been to say them […]
As we can see, the majority of planets here are listed as "neutral". That doesn't mean, however, that they have no effect on the markets. It just means that all things being equal, they do not have an intrinsic bias in regard to sentiment and prices. All planets, even the more clearly positive or negative ones, can exhibit a variety of price effects depending on the other planets and chart factors they are interacting with at any given time. Although all planets and houses possess certain natural inclinations, how they will eventually effect the market is more dependent on their temporary condition. For example, a positive planet like Venus if transiting over a malefic planet like Ketu in a malefic house like the 8th is more likely to coincide with a drop in the market. That's because the natural 'bullishness' of Venus has been corrupted, so to speak, by its temporary negative situation. Conversely, although Saturn is the planet most closely associated with pessimism and bear markets, if it forms a favourable alignment with positive aspects (e.g. 120 degrees) involving benefic planets, it often marks an upswing in prices. This is why it is crucial to take into account the whole chart rather than the motion of a single planet.
“The culture itself is very resistant to legitimacy,” Wink says. “It’s just this general feeling that going big is a death sentence. But in other communities, for example people who only visit Facebook, to them it’s not like, ‘Oh if I see this it’s dead,’ it’s like ‘Oh this is just the beginning and I’m going to be seeing this a lot more often.’” Due to their prevalence of crossover on different platforms, Wink noted that “Memes have a tendency to resurge… you’ll have a meme gain popularity, die out in a month, and then a year later suddenly it’s very popular again. Kermit has had three iterations that have died and then come back.”
I've posted a Guest Blog Entry at the www.MyRetirementBlog.com site. It's entitled What If Everything You Thought You Knew About Retirement Planning Turned Out To Be Wrong? Juicy Excerpt: I never went to investing school. I never managed a big fund. It shouldn’t be possible for me to be the first person to develop a retirement calculator that gets the numbers right. I mean, come on! But the numbers generated by my retirement calculator are very different from the numbers generated by all…

I predict that Bush the father will pass this year! A family member of mine is predicting that Jeb Bush will become president! Other sources are predicting that Hillary Clinton will become president but not too soon after she would be kill, putting a male as president soon after, cannot figure out how or if it is possible that Jeb Bush be then president.
Selling intensified in mid-October. On October 24 ("Black Thursday"), the market lost 11 percent of its value at the opening bell on very heavy trading. The huge volume meant that the report of prices on the ticker tape in brokerage offices around the nation was hours late, so investors had no idea what most stocks were actually trading for at that moment, increasing panic. Several leading Wall Street bankers met to find a solution to the panic and chaos on the trading floor.[9] The meeting included Thomas W. Lamont, acting head of Morgan Bank; Albert Wiggin, head of the Chase National Bank; and Charles E. Mitchell, president of the National City Bank of New York. They chose Richard Whitney, vice president of the Exchange, to act on their behalf.

Your MC or Midheaven is in Pisces in the Twelfth House using the Natural House system. Your vocation is an escape from the real world, so it may be the spiritual path, or the scientific one (quantum physics is an escape from reality just as meditation or astrology is). Neptune is in Sagittarius in the Ninth House so academia or religion/spirituality does seem very likely as your career or unpaid calling.
“The shift from active to passive asset management, and specifically the decline of active value investors, reduces the ability of the market to prevent and recover from large drawdowns,” Joyce Chang and Jan Loeys wrote in the Monday note. Actively managed accounts make up only about one-third of equity assets under management, with active single-name trading responsible for just 10 percent or so of trading volume, JPMorgan estimates.
You see, the economy runs in cycles – the pace of growth (keeping in mind that the stock market should reflect somewhat the real economy, that’s for another question though) expands and contracts naturally. In fact, one of the roles of the Federal Reserve, and many other central banks, is to smooth out business cycles, as stability is viewed as a public good.
Maybe what you saw is symbolic of what many countries want for the USA. Putin is far too intelligent to start a nuclear war in response to NATO gathering forces along his border. The US is the aggressor but always make it appear that other countries are. That is how they keep fooling their people to allow their government to bomb so many countries until they are a waste-land: Vietnam, North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. The US is a toxic country to most of the world, and their Deep State is trying to get rid of Donald Trump because he wants peace.
All of these options will provide a basis that can make you feel more comfortable reaching investing decisions, but the best investing decision is often to sit tight and ride out market waves. You shouldn’t be making any radical changes to your portfolio based on something you read or viewed in an online course like this; the goal is to get more comfortable with the markets in general.
Beer, Memes, and Microsoft: WHEN WOLVERINE SAID THE CAN I HELP? ARE YOU A BEER? MOST VETERAN THING EVER I started making memes on a government computer with microsoft paint. Now I manage almost 3 million followers with my media company and travel the world. Pursue your talents, I wish mine was the stock market or rocket science instead of memes but hey 🤷🏻‍♂️
History has shown that the price of stocks and other assets is an important part of the dynamics of economic activity, and can influence or be an indicator of social mood. An economy where the stock market is on the rise is considered to be an up-and-coming economy. The stock market is often considered the primary indicator of a country's economic strength and development.[48]

If you doubt that, go back to the last major slump, the near 60% decline in the Standard & Poor's 500 index from early October, 2007 to early March, 2009. It's easy to see with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight that it would have been smart to get out of the market the first week of October. But that was hardly obvious in real time. In fact, after dropping by almost 20% from October to early March 2008, stocks rallied for a 12% gain into the middle of May. We know now that this was just a brief respite from what would turn out to be a gut-wrenching bear market. But for all investors knew at the time, that 12% rebound could have signaled the end of the selloff and a resumption of the market's advance.
Thank you. Fortuna at 0 Scorpio in your chart will be opposed by Uranus at 0 Taurus from May 2018 with a repeat in early 2019. That is the moment to realise there are no ‘givens’ with money or property sometimes and you just have to adapt and adjust. The right attitude will be ‘that was then, this is now’ and to move quickly with the times, as the old way of banking, borrowing money and looking at credit will no longer apply. Try to embrace the randomness for the time that it is there. Your husband will have a lump sum to enjoy this year.
Tesco has been targeted by protesters complaining the supermarket chain sells goods made in Israel, with most complaints being about products emanating from Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Protests generally occur when Israeli military operations are being carried out in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank. A protester was arrested at a protest at a shop in Birmingham on 16 August 2014.[161]

At this stage, several roadblocks arise. First, there’s the issue of platform scale to consider. A meme might begin its life on Twitter, then move over to Facebook, or it might begin on Tumblr and migrate to Instagram. Some platforms won’t intersect; a meme may live out its entire existence on 4chan, never to feel the warm rush of a mother’s Facebook share. But the size of a platform can have a huge impact on how many times a meme is posted. Just because a particular meme had the good fortune to exist on Facebook instead of on Tumblr, does that mean it’s inherently more “valuable” than a Tumblr-only meme?

Thanks to the Fed’s ZIRP, public pension funds cannot get safe 5% returns as they did in the past. Thus, public pension funds are being lured into investing in the stock market by the big financial firms. The stock market may very well crash soon, which means that millions of retired people are going to see their benefits being cut in the coming years.
In May 2005, Tesco announced a trial non-food only format near Manchester and Aberdeen,[86] and the first shop opened in October 2005. The shops offered all of Tesco's ranges except food in warehouse-style units in retail parks. Tesco introduced the format as only 20% of its customers had access to a Tesco Extra, and the company was restricted in how many of its superstores it could convert into Extras and how quickly it could do so. Large units for non-food retailing are much more readily available. The format was not Tesco's first non-food only venture in the UK. Until the late 1990s/early 2000s there were several non-food Tesco shops around the country including Scarborough and Yate. Although not in a warehouse-style format, the shops were located on high streets and shopping centres, and stocked similar items to Homeplus shops. In both cases this was because another part of the shopping centre had a Tesco Superstore that stocked food items only. By 2014, the number of Homeplus shops in the United Kingdom had reached 12; the newest shop opened in Chester in July 2009. In 2012 it was reported that Tesco was looking to close the business to focus on groceries.[87] Tesco closed six Homeplus shops on 15 March 2015,[47] and the remaining six shops closed on 27 June 2015.[88]

Bref.

Can I guarantee this approach will lead to the best results over the long-term? Of course not. But at least you'll be following a disciplined rational strategy rather than engaging in a never-ending guessing game of trying to decide when to get out of the market (and where to put your money once you do) and then trying to figure out when to get back in. That's a game you can't consistently win.
It is important to secure a portion of your portfolio even if it lowers your return. Review and readjust your investments. Prepare to deal with when the bull market ends. One way to do it is by shifting your investments away from the risky investments to companies with high financial quality ratings proven by their financial statements. It is likely that these companies will lose less than the market in times of a market crash.
