On October  24, I sent my article “Buy-and-Hold Is Dangerous” to the Quillette.com site for possible publication there. The article is an 11,300-word summary of my experiences of the past 16 years trying to get the word out about the errors in the Buy-and-Hold retirement studies and about the dangers of the Buy-and-Hold Model in general, focusing on the public policy aspects of the question (rather than on the investment advice side of the story). Set forth below is the text of my e-mail to the editors at Quillette.com: Quillette Editors: The primary purpose of this article (“Buy-and-Hold Is Dangerous”) is not to make the case against Buy-and-Hold as an investment strategy. It is to point out the harm that the relentless promotion of this long discredited model for understanding how stock investing works is doing from a public policy standpoint. For example, Robert Shiller explains in his book “Irrational Exuberance” that it was the bull market of the late 1990s, which was brought on by the widespread price indifference encouraged by Buy-and-Hold, that served as the primary cause of the economic crisis of 2008. And prices are high enough today to justify concerns that we will be seeing a repeat of that crisis in not too long a time. Thanks for giving the article a look. The article explains who I am and how I came to be the world’s leading expert on the 37-year cover-up of the dangers of the Buy-and-Hold Model.  / Rob Bennett  / I received a response later the same day saying:  / Hi Rob,  / Thank you for thinking of us but we’ll pass on this. Usually, HFT programs and computer trading works without a hitch. But once in a while problems do crop up. Back on Aug. 24, 2015, the United States’ three major stock indexes plunged on the open, but would recover much of their losses by midday. Among the reasons blamed for the dip were market makers and HFT traders. With so many stocks within the S&P 500 failing to open on time, and a number of exchange-traded funds under trading halts, HFTs and other high-speed traders shut down their systems, removing much-needed liquidity from the marketplace and exacerbating the early-day decline.
I recently posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Budgeting in the Fun Stuff blog. It's called The Last Days of Stock Investing Risk. Juicy Excerpt: You can never eliminate risk entirely because short-term returns are not at all predictable. But there is now 33 years of peer-reviewed research showing that long-term returns are highly predictable for those who consider valuations. Risk is optional! Go with a high stock allocation when prices are low, a moderate stock allocation when prices are at…
I've posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Sustainable Personal Finance blog titled Are Investing Experts Ethical? Juicy Excerpt: By the standards that apply in most other fields of life endeavor, the investing advice field is frighteningly corrupt. I worked for several years as a tax lobbyist (hey, we all have a past!). So it takes something special in the department of ethical lapses to shock me. The investing advice field is something truly special in this…

I’m ready, but nervous. IF, this is the big one, and you are wanting this or think you will pop some corn and enjoy the show, then you are unaware of the big picture. Yes it may be enjoyable for a while (I get no joy from this BTW), it WILL effect you in ways you haven’t yet thought of. Yes those of us that are prepared will weather it better than those not prepared, but this isn’t going to be fun in the long run.
Indeed, Tesla’s performance has all the makings of a stock market crash chart to reflect the irrational exuberance of 2018. Investors have pushed Tesla’s stock market valuation to such a degree that it has infected the healthiest hedge fund. It’s a one-stock Black Monday warning! Note the Tesla stock market chart. It’s moving on hope and expectations alone; every time the quarter results are released, the stock tends to drop.
“The shift from active to passive asset management, and specifically the decline of active value investors, reduces the ability of the market to prevent and recover from large drawdowns,” Joyce Chang and Jan Loeys wrote in the Monday note. Actively managed accounts make up only about one-third of equity assets under management, with active single-name trading responsible for just 10 per cent or so of trading volume, JPMorgan estimates.
I cannot really comment on predictions made by American psychics or any other psychics come to that. The only way you can judge if her predictions are real is to look careful at predictions she has got right in the past. You need to also look at the ones she got wrong too or were made to fit after the event. I have not personally ‘seen’ any of the things you have described in this post.
Hi I am glad you said about damaging mother earth as I have been saying to people they can’t keep taking from the ground and blasting as it will mean that things are going to happen like earth quakes as it harming and making things uneven, it is hard for me to put into words what they are doing is going to cause repercussions. I also feel that we all have to look after our own country and our leaders in Australia are letting things happen that are endangering our people and country and by letting in certain people into our country is already back firing on our government as they have let it happen and now the Australian people are seeing and feeling that our government were stupid in the first place even though there was Pauline Hanson speaking out about what she thought should be happening and done that was ignored and she was right all along as it has and is happening. I have also told friends here in Australia not to live near the sea as it is going to happen here and the sea will keep coming in claiming properties and also something else is going to happen and we have seen tsunami in countries like the latest I think was Japan and they are ignoring me thinking it is not going to happen here and already on the coast of Western Australia the see has been claiming properties as the cliffs are being eaten away by the sea, I have said they need to live inland but they pay big prices the live near the ocean and they are going to feel the force of a tsunami and then will they know I was right and not mad in what I have been saying. I can’t say when or where now but it is going to happen and I am curious to see if you are picking anything up on what I have felt about Australia. I also was picking up with Trump was that he was feeling powerful and kept see Abraham Lincoln sitting in this big chair that looked like it was carved out of stone, and I know nothing about Abraham and what he did or stood for other than he was a leader of America. I would love to know what you see for Australia for 2018.
I exhaled, and Vashistha started to deliver my financial destiny.  As he sat in a chair across from me, the experience felt a bit like visiting with my shrink: yet, instead of unpacking my past with care, he gently entered into dialogue about my future. He consulted with his tablet and the chart he drew, but mostly he looked directly at me to make his statements. In his first proclamation, he determined that my wife and I will have a lasting marriage and will have twins (a boy and a girl) in the next three years. Better start contributing to some 529 plans, I thought to myself.

Thank you. I don’t get to my desk as often as I like, when I am travelling, but I have an opportunity to sit down with comments and questions this week. Your stepfather’s chart is missing from this and you need to have all the charts there if you are to figure out a three-way property or financial agreement. You also have Fortuna at 1 Scorpio in your Eighth House of houses, apartments, bank accounts, and the rest. In the middle of May, Uranus moves to 0 Taurus, right opposite your Fortuna, for the first time in your life. He will slowly cross to 1 Taurus and for most of the rest of this year, you will need to deal with a situation which is by its very nature unpredictable, erratic and hard to call – in terms of any previous experience you may have had. Just be aware of that. It’s quite true that Jupiter with all his solutions and abundant opportunities will cross your Mars at 20 Scorpio this year too and that’s worth using, but you do need to be a total realist about Uranus in Taurus. We have not seen this since the Thirties.
Writing with Brunello Rosa, Nouriel sets the scene this way: “The current global expansion will likely continue into next year, given that the US is running large fiscal deficits, China is pursuing loose fiscal and credit policies, and Europe remains on a recovery path. But by 2020, the conditions will be ripe for a financial crisis, followed by a global recession.”
One should also understand that it is the nature of the market to rise and fall. There have been such falls in the past and will happen in the future as well. But every time the market has recovered and gone on to record new highs. The market correction of 2008 was one of the worst. However, all those who remained invested and picked up good stocks during the correction are sitting on humongous gains since then.
Even better than not selling stocks during a recession is to actually go on the offense. In bull markets, investors can occasionally find reasonably priced, wonderful businesses. But they can rarely find wonderful businesses trading at a significant discount to their fair value. Stock market crashes are the rare times when high-quality businesses can be found in the clearance aisle. Go shopping!
JPMorgan’s Marko Kolanovic has previously concluded that the big shift away from actively managed investing -- through the rise of index funds, exchange-traded funds and quantitative-based trading strategies -- has escalated the danger of market disruptions. He and his colleagues wrote in a separate note Monday of the potential for a future “Great Liquidity Crisis.”
Some exchanges are physical locations where transactions are carried out on a trading floor, by a method known as open outcry. This method is used in some stock exchanges and commodity exchanges, and involves traders shouting bid and offer prices. The other type of stock exchange has a network of computers where trades are made electronically. An example of such an exchange is the NASDAQ.
Can astrology really predict the movement of the markets? Skeptics would answer that the only thing astrology can predict is a person's gullibility. While many believers of astrology do tend towards the naive "New Age" stereotype, an impartial review of the historical correlation between stock prices and planetary motion clearly suggests that prediction is possible, if only under certain conditions. One of the difficulties in assessing the relationship between prices and the planets is the large number of variables involved. Most astrologers work with at least 9 planets, 7 aspects (i.e. the angular separation between two planets), 12 houses and 12 constellations, to say nothing of asteroids, fixed stars, nakshatras or whatever other supplementary parameters one chooses to mention. Taken together, this produces a huge number of possible permutations that can be correlated with market trends.

I haven’t had any premonition/prediction but I did dream of a date, I’m not sure if it relates to me personally or on a collective scale (both even). I have never been given a date before but after the autumn/spring equinox last year in September a man told me to await his call on September 21st 2015. Now 6 months after, I still anticipate things are going to happen this September. I’ve read of a 7yr pattern of financial collapses that have happened ’01 then ’08 both in September, we’re going to have a solar eclipse 13th and the 4th lunar eclipse on 27th. There’s also going to be a UN general assembly in between the eclipses which the pope will be attending as well as American congress. Anyone else feeling things for September 2015?

Considering again Cassini going to Saturn: as for the planet Saturn, possibly Saturn represents "Satan"-- the Antichrist is said to be a Satanic imitation of Christ, actually the son of Satan. So the Cassini probe journey to Saturn actually may be the journey of mankind to "Satan". Also note that in Greek, where each letter is also a number, "Titan" totals 666, another indication of the Cassini landing on Titan being connected with the Antichrist. Note that Titan (representing the Antichrist?) revolves around Saturn/Satan.

Gr. 7-12. A Wall Street Journal bureau chief, Blumenthal combines a fascinating overview of the infamous stock market crash in 1929 with a rare and useful primer of financial basics. The chapters follow the six days surrounding the crash, but Blumenthal deftly places the events in context with vivid accounts of the stock-market fever that preceded the crash, often showing the impact of abstract issues through individual stories--the losses of Groucho Marx and of General Motors' founder William Durant are particularly astonishing. Rapid, simply constructed sentences increase the drama and suspense while making difficult concepts easily understood. Throughout, fact boxes define financial vocabulary--stocks, bonds, bulls and bears, margins, the measure of a company's worth, and more--in clear language that is both compelling and instructive. Archival images--photos, cartoons, and reproduced documents--enhance the text, as do frequent excerpts from newspapers and political quotes from the era. Students using this for research may be frustrated by the source citations, which appear as an appended, generalized chapter-by-chapter listing of materials consulted rather than as specific notes that correspond to text passages. But this still offers a riveting history, along with the basic terminology needed to grasp the events and to draw parallels between the volatile, sometimes corrupt, market of 1929 and the market today. Gillian Engberg
There is no numerically specific definition of a stock market crash but the term commonly applies to steep double-digit percentage losses in a stock market index over a period of several days. Crashes are often distinguished from bear markets by panic selling and abrupt, dramatic price declines. Bear markets are periods of declining stock market prices that are measured in months or years. Crashes are often associated with bear markets, however, they do not necessarily go hand in hand. The crash of 1987, for example, did not lead to a bear market. Likewise, the Japanese bear market of the 1990s occurred over several years without any notable crashes.
I recently wrote a guest blog entry at the Shark Investor blog entitled I'd Be the Growlingest Bear on the Internet if Only I Were a Bear. Juicy Excerpt: I’m a reporter. I report things. That’s how I’ve made my living for a long time. Never have I seen such an emotional reaction to anything I have reported as I have seen after reporting what the historical data says about how stocks are likely to perform over the next 10 years. Today's Passion: The other version of this one includes…
Predictions or opinions it seems the two fit hand in glove and it don’t take a mystic to see the world is heading for testing times, it is always heading for testing times, I will take the predictions I read here with a pinch of optimistic salt. We see the world as we are not as the world is and if you look only for the bad that is what you will find, myself I have yet to read in a newspaper the billion random acts of kindness that take place every day because it never makes the newspapers. So ask yourself is no news good news.
(5) War. War could be a worsening problem in 2018 - 2019. Russia could invade Ukraine and other former Soviet Union countries to incorporate into Russia. Russia has threatened a missile strike on NATO ABM sites in Eastern Europe, and North Korea has threatened to launch a missile strike on the U.S.. On May 4 2012, a Russian miltary leader made a threat that Russia may launch a nuclear missile attack on U.S. Antiballistic Missile ABM Systems being deployed as a missile defense in Europe. Notice that this was said as Putin is coming into office again as Russian President. This shows what a scary psycho Putin is, threatening nuclear war. So Putin could start a nuclear war around 2018-2019. Also watch out for a major war (that could be an India - Pakistan war, or a war in the Middle East, or Iran, Syria, Iraq and ISIS terrorists, or North Korea launching missiles). There is also concern over the Second Horseman War riding in 2018-2019 with Putin. Or a war in the Middle East resulting from revolutions in countries in North Africa and the Middle East, there seems to be a spreading wave of revolution there, who knows where it will lead.
I get a lot of flak about that one. We’re in a down cycle now, and it won’t bottom till around early 2020. Demographics tell you when the economy will slow, but sunspots tell you when a crash or major stock correction is going to happen. We researched sunspot cycles, recessions and major financial crises as far back [as possible], and 11 out of 11 happened in a down sunspot cycle.
Like my maverick 88 nice smooth action just a good basic shotty. Takes 3 inch loads I think that’s overkill though but hey if I come across some during a shortage it will work. Would like to get a 590 though but the 88 is sufficient as it will mostly pull guard duty in the house so it won’t see rough conditions. Grew sweet potatoes this year gonna have 30lbs or more come harvest time. My garden and fruit trees produce so much I don’t buy produce anymore just meats grains juices really. I don’t hunt but might this year got me a decent crossbow and the shotgun of course there is no rifle hunting around here. Have a buddy who used to be a butcher and hunts and processes all his own meat. I’m fond of back strap and sausage.
If you consider the 2 states of discovery, Arizona has a New Age connection, since Sedonna Arizona is this country's New Age center. And Arizona's Feb. 14 birthday makes it an Aquarius, the sign with a New Age connection. New Mexico, however, is Capricorn. I think that that Arizona may represent the New Age movement, while New Mexico represents traditional Christianity; these may be the two tails (Blue and White) of comet hale-bopp. Both the New Age movement and Chrisitianity have Millenial Movements. And the twin discoverers-- note that one of the beliefs in some early Christian writings was that Jesus had a twin brother, Thomas, who supposedly ended up in India, giving him sort of a New Age connection. This, I think, is the message of Comet Hale-Bopp.
There are different methods of predicting the future - such as psychics who have psychic predictions where they actually see the future, Nostradamus was this psychic type of prophet. For my predictions I use Astrology, combined with Bible prophecy including the Book of Revelation, Nostradamus prophecies, and numerical methods. And for me there may be a psychic element also in my predictions for 2018 to 2020.

In July 2013 Tesco security staff violated the UK Equality Act 2010 by refusing to allow a blind lady's guide dog to enter the Feltham shop. Tesco staff refused to apologise for the violation of the law for 5 days.[156] It was also revealed that security staff had thrice previously ordered a different blind person and his guide dog to leave the shop.[157] Following further incident in 2013 when the manager of Tesco in Sutton ordered a blind person and her guide dog to leave the shop, Tesco stated that their staff had received training to ensure that such an incident would not happen again.[158] However, a year later in 2014 three Tesco cashiers banned a blind person and her dog from their shop.[159]
Set forth below is the text of a comment that I recently posted to the discussion thread for another blog entry at this site: “I hope that helps a bit. I have heard of the Coffeehouse Portfolio. I don’t know what the Cowards Portfolio is. I obviously get it that a three-fund portfolio would include three funds but I couldn’t tell you what those three funds would be. These questions don’t interest me too much.” So you don’t really know what is in all those portfolios as well as their strategy, yet you say that they will all lose 50% of their value and that VII is superior. I don’t say that. It’s the last 37 years of peer-reviewed research in this field that says that. I REPORT it. I am a reporter. That’s the kind of thing we do. We don’t just push smiley-face marketing slogans. We REPORT realities. What if these funds went by the name of “The Irrational Exuberance Portfolio”? Do you think that would sell? Why do you think they don’t do it that way? It’s because they want to turn a quick buck. Valuation-Informed Indexing is what works. Buy-and-Hold is what sells. It can’t all be about marketing. When millions of middle-class people see their lifetime savings wiped out, they are going to get angry. When they learn that there were people trying to tell them what the last 37 years of peer-reviewed research teaches us about how stock investing works in the real world, their anger is going to intensify. The Buy-and-Hold marketing slogans will be spoken as obscenities in those days. Not a good thing. There’s plenty of money to be made in this field telling the truth. You could have all these funds and still tell people the truth about the need to practice price discipline (long-term timing) when buying stocks and the funds would actually work and people would like them. The problem stems from the fact that we didn’t always know everything there is to know about how stock investing works, and when Shiller published his Nobel-prize-winning research, the Buy-and-Holders elected to ignore it rather than to work up the courage to say the words “I’ and “Was” and “Wrong.” Now we are in a trap. It is now 500 times harder for Bogle and the other Buy-and-Holders to say those words than it would have been to say them […]
To help the US government quell the civil unrest. This reminded me of Mr Hamilton-Parker’s past prediction of Canadian troops coming to the aid of the US to put an end to civil unrest. In a subsequent video he said that that was a wrong prediction as it did not happen. Since the Naadi leaves predict the same, could it be that this event is still in the future?

Bonne continuation!

Prolonging the good times into September will require navigating a calendar full of pitfalls. Of primary concern are emerging markets, where currency and other assets are weakening and some say contagion will worsen. The big risk is on the trade front with President Donald Trump said to want to move ahead with a plan to impose tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese imports as soon as next week.
Set forth below is the text of a comment that I recently posted to the discussion thread for another blog entry at this site: The comment was present tense. You immediately shifted to past tense. The question was why are you doing nothing NOW? Your answer: “I have never done one smidgen less than all that I can do.” So right now, nothing is absolutely all you can do. You’re as helpless as a newborn babe in the snow. You may not have noticed, but newborn babes in the snow generally aren’t rich and famous. And they have the excuse of being newborn. What’s your excuse for your helplessness? We live in communities. The community in which I live has not offered the amount of help that I need to bring down Buy-and-Hold and replace it with Valuation-Informed Indexing. That’s my explanation for why I am not rich and famous today, for why I am instead a newborn babe in the snow. Say that you were one of the women who was attacked by Bill Cosby. And say that you tried to do something about it when it happened. And that no one cared. He just kept committing his crimes because no one cared enough to take effective action. The world would be telling you that you were helpless, right? That’s the message that the world has been sending me for 16 years. Now — If the world sends you a message that you are helpless, should you give up on your efforts to do good? In some circumstances, you should. If a woman who was attacked by Bill Cosby in 1965 made efforts to seek justice and received no help, I certainly wouldn’t have blamed her if she stopped making those efforts. And I wouldn’t blame someone who has made efforts to tell the world how stock investing really works if they ran into the sort of resistance that I have run into. We are all given only so many years of life and we have to make judgments as to how to employ those years of life energy. There’s a case for me saying after 16 years:”Oh, I gave this a good shot and it hasn’t yet paid off, I think I will direct my energies elsewhere.” But there is also a good case — I think a much better case — for me soldiering on. Bill Cosby […]

The next day, "Black Tuesday", October 29, 1929, about 16 million shares traded as the panic selling reached its peak. Some stocks actually had no buyers at any price that day ("air pockets"[citation needed]). The Dow lost an additional 30 points, or 12 percent.[11][12][13][14] The volume of stocks traded on October 29, 1929, was a record that was not broken for nearly 40 years.[12]

Saturn at 2 Taurus opposite Jupiter at 2 Scorpio in your chart will certainly be under transit from Uranus, so it can help to take them apart. Essentially you have justified fear (Saturn) about money, business, property or possessions (Taurus) based on one or two very tough past episodes (Saturn) which have led you to build up ‘walls’ and defences. At the same time, whenever you attempt to build these walls to make yourself feel more secure, you realise you are blessed (Jupiter) by natural protection and good fortune, when it comes to more complex agreements about money, or arrangements about houses, apartments, possessions and the rest. This is a lifelong pattern of push/pull around your budget, security and values. What happens when Uranus crosses to 2 Taurus will change and challenge that pattern. Just knowing that Uranus is about independence, freedom, space, liberty and room to move will help you make informed decisions.

With reference to your dream, Craig. My immediate response was that it pertained to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Harry the ginger and his Queen Meghan. H.M was introduced to Meghan at Balmoral. The estate refers to the ‘holy estate of matrimony. The three silver arrows to the three heraldic fleur de lis. Meghan and Harry too have been the subject of huge online hate.

Here is an archive of my past posts and articles. While there is a focus on financial and political issues, there are also some posts that examine other events from an astrological perspective. Using a blend of Vedic and Western systems of interpretation, we can see how symbolic correlations emerge between the stars and the worlds of politics, business, and entertainment.

Martial law is now implemented, the Natzi cabal suspends the election, and congratulate Donal Trump for his PR stunt, and he laughs his ass off because he happy to finally see the New World Oder commensing. Mr, you should see what we do to tritors, in regard to Edward Snowden. The drones have the locations of the people of interest and begin tactical strikes in broad daylight on veterans, patriots, whites, etc. MS 13, he mexican army, the jihadist enter Texas and start launch attacks, russain pulls into the Texas guld and does and anphibian invasion, China attacks Texas with the Mexacn army from the south, the russians come down from Colorado from the East North and south. Not a nice time or place to be in as i see.
Tax avoidance has not always related to corporation tax. A number of companies including Tesco used a scheme to avoid VAT by deeming 2.5% of purchases paid for by card to be a 'card transaction fee', which reduced the company's tax liability without changing the charge to the customer. Such schemes came to light after HMRC litigated against Debenhams over the scheme in 2005.[147]
The second biggest crash in global markets occurred in 2008. It was preceded by a housing market crash which led two Wall Street banks, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers declaring bankruptcy. By 2008 the world economy was so interconnected that the market crash led to a global financial crisis. Although it wasn’t the largest crash in percentage terms, it was the largest drop in terms of value in the history of the New York Stock Exchange.
George, the blogger at the Investing Online AI blog, has written a post advocating the use of P/E10 to know when it is dangerous to own stocks. George learned about Valuation-Informed Indexing from a Guest Blog Entry that I wrote at another site and we had a long telephone conversation the other night in which we discussed the wonders of the P/E10 stock valuation metric. His blog entry is titled P/E10 -- A Tool for Investing. Juicy Excerpt: If there were a way to know if the market was…
We can see that Mercury dashas do not generally correlate with higher prices and fall well below the +6%/year historical norm for stocks. The best performing period occurred during Jupiter-Mercury but even there, Mercury revealed its bearish tendencies since it marked the biggest crash in history. The overall positive price effect from 1985-1988 was largely the result of Jupiter's overriding influence. It is perhaps no coincidence that the greatest bull market in history occurred during the Jupiter dasha from 1981 to 1997. The only other strongly positive period occurred during the Sun dasha. Here we can see the combined effect of two 11th house planets (gains!) fending off whatever bearish influences they encountered. Looking ahead to Mercury's next major dasha period which begins in 2016, it's hard to be optimistic about the stock market's performance.
Set forth below is the text of a Guest Blog Entry that I recently submitted to my friend "Pop" at the Pop Economics blog. Pop asked that I take a different focus and on Saturday I submitted a different version. So I thought I would set forth here the language of the initial take. It's entitled "Valuation-Informed Investing Is Risk-Diminished Investing." My name is Rob Bennett. I am the author of a Google Knol entitled “Why Buy-and-Hold Investing Can Never Work” and argue for an…
Have you ever dreamed of owning multiple homes or a giant yacht?  How about owning a large piece of land where you can literally do whatever you want, or dreamed of traveling the world with little thought of how much money you’re spending?  If you’ve ever had these lofty goals in your head, then it’s definitely time to download the book Stock Trading: A Crash Course to Get Quickly Started and Make Immediate Cash with Stock Trading right now!

Possibly these two elements named Ununpentium (115) and Ununtrium (113), that were created by Russian and American scientists, by colliding an isotope of Calcium with Americium, may represent the Two Witnesses of Revelation, and may indicate that they will appear soon on the world scene. So watch out for two mysterious prophets who may appear by 2018-2020. See this page for Bible Code matrices on the Two Witnesses which may indicate at least one of them is from the U.S..

History has shown that the price of stocks and other assets is an important part of the dynamics of economic activity, and can influence or be an indicator of social mood. An economy where the stock market is on the rise is considered to be an up-and-coming economy. The stock market is often considered the primary indicator of a country's economic strength and development.[48]
Once a meme has been approved, it needs to be categorized. For example, do Hooded Kermit and Tea Kermit both count as Kermit Memes? Or are they separate entities with distinct trajectories and distinct NASDANQ values? The proposed solution here is something the team is calling a “three-market system”: multiple markets that exist under the NASDANQ umbrella. Memes will be distributed among these markets based on their particular characteristics. The three markets will include penny stocks (low-end, not very popular memes) text-based memes (where the text is always the same, but the image will change, i.e., the Rick Harrison Pawn shop meme) and image-based memes (opposite of text-based memes, like Hooded Kermit).
The "T" in my name was at the "t" in "stranger". You will see on this site that I am one of the millions of American Christian supporters of Israel. And also, concerning this web site, this New Testament King James Bible Code matrix, at John 14:23 - Revelation 7:9, was found by searching for REVELATION THIRTEEN (since "Revelation13.net" is the name of this web site), my name TCHASE, and also note in this matrix there is: WEB (as in web site), AND WE HAVE SEEN, LOOKING FOR THAT BLESSED HOPE, THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD, TO SPEAK UNTO THE PEOPLE, THEY TOOK KNOWLEDGE, BE REVEALED, THE TRUTH. I think these words describe what this web site Revelation13.net is about. John 8:32: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free".
But as investors, haunted by the trauma of the Great Recession, they have been mostly cautious. Many young people struggling to find work retreated back to school or into part-time work. For millennials living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes bunking with their parents, saving for retirement seemed a remote priority as they watched debts pile up.
By NO means am I asking you to donate anything, as I put up the blog and post my thoughts for FREE, in order to help everyone out the best that I can. However, it seems common now for people to put up a "Donate" button, so here it is! Just ignore it if you wish, as I'll still continue to try and help everyone the best I can... without any donates required.
Record, Stock Market, and Time: THE STOCK MARKET JUST REACHED AN ALL-TIME HIGH DURING MY ADMINISTRATION FOR THE 102ND TIME, A PRESIDENTIAL RECORD, BY FAR, FOR LESS THAN TWO YEARS. SO MUCH POTENTIAL AS TRADE AND MILITARY DEALS ARE COMPLETED ATAGAN @realDonaldTrump The stock market just reached an ALL-TIME HIGH during my administration for the 102nd time!
This is all rather daunting…why do you suggest house and apartment market? I also had a massive shock Recently. My Niece gave birth to a special child. All our plans as a family for house, apartment and financial security etc have already undergone a change. I dread to think about more change. There is just so much that is in flux. I worry about how we might be walking into more challenges.
In Professor Sornette’s model, a bubble is a market heading to a critical point. But a crash is not the only possible post-crisis outcome: Prices can also stop rising and reach a higher plateau. It is precisely because of the small but real probability that a bubble will not crash but simply stop growing that it is rational for some investors to stay in the market, even when if they think that it has gone too far, too fast.

Stock-market crashes generally take everyone by surprise--they feel like bolts from the blue. They're usually not. Sornette shows how the interplay of greed, fear, and imitation among investors and traders creates an accelerating rhythm of sudden rises alternating with increasingly brief pauses. This "mathematical signature" can begin months or years in advance, but its predictive value rises in the last year before the death of the bubble (which may be relatively calm, but usually is followed by a crash).

The equity market actually peaked in late 2007, and appeared to be undergoing a correction in early 2008. However, after a brief recovery in April 2008 failed to reach the all-time highs, the market fell for the following 11 months. By March 2009 the S&P 500 index had fallen more than 55%. Unprecedented action by the Federal Reserve to stimulate the economy and market led to the beginning of the bull market that has continued until today.

I recently posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Smarter Wallet blog entitled Stock Market Strategy: Market Timing Based on Long-Term Views. Juicy Excerpt: If prices can be wildly wrong in the short term but must be roughly right in the long term, it should be possible to know in advance which way prices are headed (in the long term only, not in the short term) just by knowing the valuation level you are starting from. Researchers have checked the historical data. This explanation, unlike the…
Note the emphasis on every. Yes, there have been periods where the Fed raised rates and a recession didn’t ensue. Everyone knows the famous saying about the stock market having predicted nine of the past five recessions! That may be true, that rising rates don’t necessarily cause a recession. But as an investor, you must be aware that every major stock market decline occurred on the heels of a tightening phase by the Fed. More importantly, there have been no substantive Fed tightening phases that did not end with a stock market decline.

Other important economic barometers were also slowing or even falling by mid-1929, including car sales, house sales, and steel production. The falling commodity and industrial production may have dented even American self-confidence, and the stock market peaked on September 3 at 381.17 just after Labor Day, then started to falter after Roger Babson issued his prescient "market crash" forecast. By the end of September, the market was down 10% from the peak (the "Babson Break"). Selling intensified in early and mid October, with sharp down days punctuated by a few up days. Panic selling on huge volume started the week of October 21 and intensified and culminated on October 24, the 28th, and especially the 29th ("Black Tuesday").[26]
I have good reasons why i prep. I just dont have any confidence in govenment and am no convinved that covernment and city officials, etites etc are busy sitting around worry thier entitles asses off worry about me not eating or having a hard time. Or i am being too paranoid. Agency ass clowns think that you all are so dumb to relax and so that they can steer thinking by convine shtf-effers that i have bad grammar and can’t spell.
The Warren Buffett Indicator is less mysterious than it sounds. It might as well be called the common-sense indicator. It’s simply the relationship between gross domestic product (GDP)—or the sum total of a country’s economic activity—and the value of stocks in the S&P 500. So, in simpler terms, the Warren Buffett Indicator in terms of Wall Street measures market capitalization versus U.S. GDP. (Source: “Why Warren Buffett Is Betting Against Warren Buffett,” Seeking Alpha, October 24, 2017.)

So, the way to prepare for a market crash is not necessarily to artfully predict in advance, and step aside when the crash comes. That's virtually impossible. Rather, it can be useful to consider your overall investment strategy ahead of time, so that you know you could stomach the next inevitable crash when it comes. Ideally, through proper diversification and forethought you'll have an investment approach that will enable you to ride out a crash, rather than turning you into another panicked seller. If you only act on these issues when the crash comes, it will likely be too late.

Shadox at the Money and Such blog recently posted a blog entry entitled Passive Investing Is for Extremists: The Critque. Juicy Excerpt: His main claim relates no so much to how you invest in stocks, but rather to the percentage of your portfolio that is invested in this asset class, regardless of which stocks or stock funds you put your money into. I think that it is more correct to say that Rob is against passive asset allocation, than he is against passive investing as I understand…

I recently wrote a Guest Blog Entry for the "Money and Such" blog entitled Passive Investing Is a Strategy for Extremists. Juicy Excerpt: The word “passive” sounds neutral. It sounds moderate. I don’t think the investing philosophy is that at all. The investing philosophy argues for taking no action whatsoever when the risk of holding stocks increases dramatically. This is the blog entry that was viewed by the owner of the "Lazy Man and Money" blog as "too hot to…

Here we will apply astrology, Biblical prophecy, numerical analysis, and the concepts of this Revelation 13 web site to economics. Could a worldwide economic crash and economic depression occur soon, from this economic recession, including a world stock market crash? In September 29 - October 8 2008 there was a major fall in the U.S. Stock Market that also affected European and other country's economies. I think the U.S. stock markets and financial markets, the New York Stock Exchange, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and the Nasdaq stock markets could see instability and problems. Also volcano eruptions around the world including in Indonesia could affect world travel by shutting down airports.

I've posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Everyday Tips and Thoughts blog. It's called Stocks Are Not Risky for Those Willing to Tune Out the Wall Street Mumbo Jumbo. Juicy Excerpt: The people who are cited in the media as investment “experts” are almost all employed by Wall Street. Wall Street makes lots of money when you invest in stocks and hardly anything when you invest in other asset classes. So 90 percent of the “experts” are compromised. They are not experts in how to invest…
Financial innovation has brought many new financial instruments whose pay-offs or values depend on the prices of stocks. Some examples are exchange-traded funds (ETFs), stock index and stock options, equity swaps, single-stock futures, and stock index futures. These last two may be traded on futures exchanges (which are distinct from stock exchanges—their history traces back to commodity futures exchanges), or traded over-the-counter. As all of these products are only derived from stocks, they are sometimes considered to be traded in a (hypothetical) derivatives market, rather than the (hypothetical) stock market.

There is no better way to invest over a long term than the stock market. I suggest no-load Vanguard index funds due to their solid performance and very low fees. They have several to choose from. You will probably need a thousand dollars to get started with them. Charles Schwab has no-load low fee index funds that you can open with as little as fifty (SWPPX), to one-hundred dollars. Then you need the confident approach of a turtle: easy, persistent, confident, rolling with the volatility and not panicking while gradually building wealth a basket at a time over a long haul, and out performing the rabbit minded investor. Remember: keep a steady, modest cutting expectation over a long haul.

Personally, I believe that the S&P 500 will bounce back on Friday, but that doesn’t mean that the crisis is over.  Remember, some of the best days in stock market history happened right in the middle of the financial crisis of 2008.  During market panics, we should expect to see dramatic ups and downs.  When markets are calm, that is good news for stocks, but when markets start swinging wildly that is usually a sign to start heading for the exits.
When markets are very volatile, the overall trend tends to be down.  So what investors should be hoping for are extremely boring days on Wall Street when not much happens.  That has been the usual state of affairs for much of the past decade, but now volatility has returned with a vengeance.  The following is how CNBC summarized the carnage that we witnessed on Friday…
Whether Professor Sornette is right or not that a critical point can be anticipated, the entire concept of market self-organization deals a blow to the “fundamental” approach to investing in equity markets – the idea that opinion-based research can lead to investment success when it seems quite apparent that outcomes cannot be predicted even when initial conditions are known.
In the 1960s, Tesco set up a non-food division, Tesco Home 'n' Wear, headed by Leslie Porter. It had stand-alone shops and departments in larger shops, and from 1975 a distribution centre in Milton Keynes. Although Tesco continued to stock non-food items the stand-alone shops were closed and the name was no longer in use when Tesco Extra was launched.[83][84][85]
Sornette probes major historical precedents, from the decades-long "tulip mania" in the Netherlands that wilted suddenly in 1637 to the South Sea Bubble that ended with the first huge market crash in England in 1720, to the Great Crash of October 1929 and Black Monday in 1987, to cite just a few. He concludes that most explanations other than cooperative self-organization fail to account for the subtle bubbles by which the markets lay the groundwork for catastrophe.
I recently wrote a Guest Blog Entry for the Moolanomy blog entitled The Difference Between the Multiply-by-25 Rule and the 4-Percent Rule. Juicy Excerpt:  I believe strongly that the 4-Percent Rule at some times overstates and at other times understates the amount needed for a safe retirement; at times of high valuations the true safe withdrawal can drop to as low as 2 percent and at times of low valuations it can rise to as high as 9 percent. The Multiply-by-25 Rule isn’t by itself…
I believe it would be a very good time to start discussing near future in Europe and middle East as the situation is boiling over. Can anybody please share their predictions on refugee crisis, how will it develop and leave impact across the Europe? How will the Russia’s war with ISIL end? What will be the impact on America and China? I think we should start sharing more here and with people around us so to spread the awareness as what we see unraveling before our eyes will not end well. I have had some strong predictions of my relatives deaths and other events in the past, and since the massive influx of Syrian refugees started over a month ago, I have had the strongest “gut feeling” (that is present physically) and even lost a lot of weight. Please, if anyone can see clearer in to this, share your visions! Thank You!

Unfortunately we are going to the brink of serious global conflict, but it will be okay in the end. I was very unhappy with Trump’s timing of the North Korea/South Korea ‘peace’ talks as he did it on Mercury Retrograde, exactly the same cycle that Chamberlain appeased Hitler. What we have to trust and hope for is the mini Age of Aquarius which comes from Christmas 2019 when people power and one-world thinking will prevail. What you need to remember about 1935 is the anti-Semitism too. We just saw this in Britain and it affected this week’s elections, working against the Labour party. So, history really does repeat. Take a look at Tesla and Mr. Musk. That’s my big tip. Their charts show exact matches in late Scorpio and Jupiter (abundance) is headed there, later this year.
I've posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Free from Broke site titled Playing Dominion vs. Playing the Market. Juicy Excerpt: It’s possible to finish a game of Dominion in 30 minutes.  Newcomers to the game make dumb mistakes the first time they play. They learn from those mistakes. They get better. Investing is a game that extends over 60 years of your life (if you start at age 25 and die at age 85).  By the time we figure the game out, it’s…
(Bloomberg) -- At Dwarika’s Resort, a holistic wellness retreat in Nepal’s Eastern Kathmandu Valley, I sat in a wooden library across from famed astrologer Santosh Vashistha, a distinguished 42-year-old in a plaid sport coat with remnants of festive red tika adorning his forehead. His piercing eyes are almost as captivating as the view of the distant Himalayas through the wide picture window behind him.
In my last predictions, I said that Shakespeare’s bones would be analyzed to show he’s been poisoned. This has not happened. I also predicted that a kidnap attempt would be attempted on the pope. Wrong on that one I’m sorry to say. I got it right about the launch of new virtual reality games and augmented reality did take huge strides as predicted. You may remember I predicted that a giant squid would make the news. I felt a bit silly even suggesting this but giant squid have made the news and the Russians found something really weird under the ice! Maybe in 2018 she’ll have babies that will march on Washington!

I've posted a Guest Blog Entry at the Financial Uproar site entitled It's the End of the Investing World As We Know It (and I feel Fine). Juicy Excerpt: We are up against something very big here. When we discovered that it is not the sun that revolves around the earth but the earth that revolves around the sun we started a revolution in science. We tapped into many powerful insights in the years since as a result of that one, simple, fundamental change in our understanding of how the world…
As I was looking at the NYSE chart – I was a little surprised to realize that transiting Neptune was making an opposition to the natal Mars and the transiting Moon was about to light that puppy up. Transiting Jupiter was also opposing the Sun. And as you can see transiting Uranus was hitting the cusp of the 9th house right at the midpoint between the natal Moon and Saturn. All that and the fast moving South Node and Venus and Sun were starting to conjunct the natal Pluto. None of that seemed good. Traditionally, the big falls happen in the fall. So I was a little surprised to see so many activating aspects that looked negative. I was a bit worried because I really figured a big crash would happen in the fall of 2019 so I looked for reiteration in the US Constitution Signing Chart. In fact I spent the rest of the night looking at patterns in both the US CS chart and the NYSE chart. The 1929 chart seemed like it showed up more in the US CS chart then in the NYSE exchange chart. It was in both but the aspects were not very exact in the NYSE exchange chart which worried me a bit. As you can see above I have a different chart for the stock market then the rectified one I put up the other night. I found an alternative time online and it seems to time out a lot better. In this new chart Uranus was right on the cusp of the 8th/9th over the last couple of days and made more sense in the 1929 chart.
Many of the above predictions are pretty gloomy but I feel that there will be a simultaneous growth in spirituality for the people of the world that will now start to lead us into a Golden Age. Conflict and hardship plus growing environmental problems will bring good people together and ignite a desire to seek the true purpose of human life. I feel that 2017 and 2018 are the years when miraculous spiritual things will be revealed to the world as it finally breaks the yoke of the Age of Materialism. At first just a few will witness the revelation of the divine but eventually, people will experience the world in a completely new way and directly know higher consciousness.

The trouble began a week ago in the West, where in the early evening a single grain of sand fell on a portion of our pile that was already very steep. This triggered a small avalanche, as a few grains toppled downhill toward the East. Unfortunately, the pile hasn’t been managed properly in the West, and these few grains entered into another region of the pile that was also already steep. Soon more grains toppled and throughout the night the avalanche grew in size; by the next morning, it was well out of control. In retrospect, there is nothing surprising. One fateful grain falling a week ago led to a chain of events that swept catastrophe across the pile and into our own backyard here in the East. Had the Western authorities been more responsible, they could have removed some sand from the initial spot, and then none of this would have happened. It is a tragedy that we can only hope will never be repeated."
Jack Cohen, the son of Jewish migrants from Poland, founded Tesco in 1919 when he began to sell war-surplus groceries from a stall at Well Street Market, Hackney, in the East End of London.[10] The Tesco brand first appeared in 1924. The name came about after Jack Cohen bought a shipment of tea from Thomas Edward Stockwell. He made new labels using the initials of the supplier's name (TES), and the first two letters of his surname (CO), forming the word TESCO.[10] After experimenting with his first permanent indoor market stall at Tooting in November 1930, Jack Cohen opened the first Tesco shop in September 1931 at 54 Watling Street, Burnt Oak, Edgware, Middlesex.[11][12][13] Tesco was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1947 as Tesco Stores (Holdings) Limited.[10] The first self-service shop opened in St Albans in 1956 (which remained operational until 2010 before relocating to larger premises on the same street, with a period as a Tesco Metro),[17] and the first supermarket in Maldon in 1956.[10] In 1961 Tesco Leicester made an appearance in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest shop in Europe.[9]

Blind optimism over the tax cuts have led Wall Street analysts to produce a 2019 forward earnings estimate that's 46% greater than the most recent 12-month operating earnings for the S&P 500, he said. "The combination of extreme valuations and extreme earnings expectations creates a situation that's ripe for disappointment," wrote Hussman in a recent blog post on his company site.
